  1. It could also just be an improvement with textures alone, in the direction of FTX Global. I think as long as the textures of the scenery and landscape are “believable” it would suffice, more localized to certain regions of the world. Currently, the southern Alps of New Zealand are not even close, as much as I want to use my imagination. It’s the same type of mountainous region that’s portrayed, more like hills, in other parts of the world. I can only speak for myself but I couldn’t tell the difference of the exact scenery on an approach to an airport in a country or area I’m not familiar with. I don’t need exact satellite imagery for that. With X-Plane already using OpenStreerMap I know there’s already a certain level of accuracy.
  2. Switched to DX12 and had quite a few micro stutters during test flight today, maybe every minute or so, especially in cruise with and without Lossless Scaling. Settings are unchanged and just turned on DX12.
  3. Same here. Never had issues until recently, maybe within last month or so. I’m not using the NVIDIA app but would still get the DXDI error from time to time. Updated to 581.15 today but now see that it seems to be an issue with the NVIDIA App and/or DirectX 12. Might have to switch to DirectX 12 in my 2080Ti and see how that works.
  4. This is from Fenix’s support page: https://support.fenixsim.com/hc/en-us/articles/12375022304015-EFB-Sim-Settings-Explained You’ll find it in Settings / Airline Modifiable Information / EFB Mount Toggle between having the EFB mounted on the window or the frame. Frame mounting allows the use of the sunblind.
  5. Sceneries are good, in that department I give them kudos, especially with them creating airports other developers don’t touch such as KJFK, KLAX, PHNL. Except the bumps on the runways and taxiways, avoidable though by utilizing photogrammetry.
  6. Compared to PMDG 777, in my opinion, the iniBuilds A350 is not even close. Especially when it comes to performance and stability. I’ve had a few crashes with the A350, the only product in MSFS 2020 for me. The product is shelved for me since I don’t want to do a long haul flight only for the plane to crash and become unusable hours into the flight. For me, it’s just unreliable and I don’t want to waste time not knowing if the flight will be completed or not.
  7. That’s great to know, thank you. At least ATC service is provided by BATC over those areas.
  8. How is BATC doing with oceanic operations? Are position reports possible?
  9. I missed the last part of your question on how to do this. Once you have the Game Controllers window open, select the controller in the list that you would like to calibrate and click on Properties, then the Settings tab, and lastly click on Calibrate.
  10. Presse the Windows Key and type in joy.cpl and press enter. It'll open the classic Game Controllers window.
