Hi, Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere or repeatedly, and I appreciate your patience if that's the case; but can the ATC and Kneeboard pop up windows in P3D2, be made transparent? I really dislike the solidity of these windows in P3D, and cannot see any advantage to not having partially transparent pop up dialogue boxes, as per FSX. Any pointers? Thanks in advance.

I have this issue where my aircraft (in this case the A380 by Project Airbus) - my aircraft's texture became transparent. Not that I want it, I want to get rid of it. It is weird to have see-through fuselages. Will post screenshot if required. I'm still a newbie at repainting, but am knowledgeable. Please advise

On a fair few FSX native aircraft, I'm getting self-shadow problems that no combination of Fixer shadow settings seems to cure. I started a thread over at SOH (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?86833-Self-shadow-oddities&p=879027&viewfull=1#post879027), but thought I'd flag it here. PJ suggested (in that thread) that I change the textures over to DXT-1, which gets around the problem but won't address the fact that many of my native payware and freeware aircraft that use dds/DXT-5 textures by default and would therefore (all) need editing. One of my worst culprits is the A2A P-51D (see top pic, below the cockpit): The false shadow on the cockpit wall comes and goes as you zoom in or out. Is this a .mdl transparency problem or something weird about the way DX10+Fixer is handling DXT-5? Adam.
