The faulting module was libcurl.dll.  It has nothing to do with FSX so not sure why you would have gotten. It is a component of Google Earth and many other apps.  Were you using Google Earth while flying?  In my computer system, it is located the folder which I have Notepad++\Updater installed.  Most likely, the program that is using this dll is not shutting down properly.  You might want to run a search in Windows Explorer for the drive that has your system and search for this dll and see what it belongs to on your system.  That program may need to be updated.

 

I also noted you have the correct version of Microsoft Visual 2005 w/SP1 installed and you have Microsoft Visual 2010 and 2012 installed but no 2008 w/SP1.  Many of the older FSX program addons used Microsoft Visual 2008 w/SP1.  Not related to your problem here though.

libcurl is updated by FS2Crew and conflicts with addon AC occasionally (I recently had to reinstall FS2Crew for the 737NGX which overwrote changes made by some other add-on that messed with it.) That was my recent experience, at least.

libcurl is updated by FS2Crew and conflicts with addon AC occasionally (I recently had to reinstall FS2Crew for the 737NGX which overwrote changes made by some other add-on that messed with it.) That was my recent experience, at least.

 

Will i need to reinstall fs2crew? I did update the NGX to sp1d

It wouldn't hurt, IMO. Start there and see if that corrects the issue before diving into troubleshooting Windows.

I doubt that will fix this problem with the faulting module but it never hurts to have the 2005 and 2008 Microsoft Visuals installed.

Let us know if you are still getting the libcurl.dll crash. I have FSCrew installed on my computer but no libcurl.dll so do not understand why I was robbed and they didn't install the libcurl.dll on my computer. Like I said, I only saw this file associated with Notepad++ and, on Google, it is associated with Google Earth.

I have 3 separate instances, one of which is in the FSX home directory. Whatever put it there, it gets updated as the final step when installing FS2Crew for me. If this add-on does it, I'm sure others do it, too.

I have RAASPro from FS Crew and it does not have this module. Strange.
