[Quick Fix] Issues where Cameras are not changing properly

Recommended Posts

Last Edited: August 28th, 2017

When launching ChasePlane, a scan of all your aircraft will be made to find & fix potential compatibility issues. If the aircraft is already loaded when the message appears, restart the simulator to ensure views are working properly.

If your EzDok version is older than v1.1.8;

  1. Close the simulator
  2. Run EZCA Config.exe
  3. Press Restore
  4. Restart the Simulator
  5. The issue should be resolved

If you are having issues across many aircraft:

  1. Close the simulator
  2. Remove the cameras.cfg file located in %appdata%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3/, %appdata%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4/ or %appdata%\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
  3. Launch the simulator (wait until it is fully loaded)
  4. Run ChasePlane (You will get a notification about ChasePlane fixing stuff)
  5. Restart the Simulator
  6. The issue should be resolved

I have tried all of the above "fixes" but I am still having the same issue with the PMDG B777-300ER. Please help!

Same here. I'm finding myself continuously forcing Chase plane to close and reopen it

Problems with ramdomly changing of camera in all aircrafts in P3d v3. Tried to fix as mentioned above. Worked fine some weeks ago. No EZdok installed. Controls settings checked. No conflicts. If no solution comes up, i sadly have to uninstall ChasePlane.
