Seem to be some life back to this with the recent update to the 2016 schedules released over at Flight1. I'm flying over the Gulf of Mexico and an AeroMexico 738 just crossed below me at FL350.

The best thing to do is turn off all....ALL scenery of lower United Kingdom....UK2000 and Orbx alike. I suffered ill-ingly for hours struggling to get out of Heathrow in either UK2000 or AS_LHR Extended. I was only able to achieve success when deactivating those scenery like Southampton and UK2000 EGKK/EGLC

I concur wholeheartedly with the post starter and Firehawk44, in that omitting Sweetfx and or enb. For months I had experience a barrage of CTds due to there injections. Since in the past month of omitting Sfx I have yet to encounter any in the most extreme cases. All I use is Shade with mod to the day lighting. Thx guys for your advise.

Yup..using Norton.. I had to ticket this with PMDG support and they advise to locate my updater.exe and execute manually. This was after I went into norton's history to accept the connection.

Ok gang I'm back in the air and back in business. Here's what I had to do Save flight KLAX -EGLL ( when vas hit 3.91 over Greenland or 100 miles from 6356N)* * It should be noted that all my long haul flight are tracked with FS flight Keeper for situations just like this. Exit out FSX Restart FSX thus clear vas usage Preload BAW (AC used) Load save FLT Note here when loaded I still have the same black screens Go to flights menu and select "RESET" Now I reload panel state from FMC power supplied engines run however land gear down ( here's the beautiful thing t7 does not allow airspeed exceed 250 kits) Retract landing gear Reprogram entire flight plan but don't activate Check the current or nearest way point in the direction your heading Select so that it is first (replaces KLAX in my case) on the page 1 of your active rte page Activate and set LNAV oh stabilizes your aircraft speed, elevation and heading by use of ap while reset FMC Continue on route with your flight to final destination and with reduced vas I guess this will have to be the work around until such time this matter is official resolved. Enjoy your flight and your stay in the deck of the t7. ( still amazing)

lol...And that is why people PMDG strongly recommends that we read the manuals. Im speak on this for myself. After several aggrevated attempts I decided to come off my high horse of excitement and dig into the Manual, Tutorial and Introduction to find my own user error. I should have listened Page 0.00.62/63 self explanatory...."I" failed to save the "State of my Panel" in the CDU before existing FSX. Can't help to concur with all that has already been said. I guest your question is better served if we know what's your "angle of attack" . What I mean and probably echo is from what level of comparison are you in search of? They are certainly two entirely different AC. And anyone would or has enjoyed them both for their specific purpose in the sim. I personally would not allow the new dev techniques sway me away from the success made with the NGX or any other aircraft produced by PMDG for that matter. My question to you is why don't you have them all? But I digressed, so lets get back to 777. Phenomenal even in its current stage. Other sp to come? I suspect that much. But one amazing feat they accomplished for me (and shut my mount as well) is the infamous VAS usage expanded with AC of this caliber. What an improvement in both this field and the Fps. Sounds, as mentioned by others' comments, incredible from every angle and function. So my friend I hope get the answer or find what you are looking for. I did and I brought them all from PMDG.
