December 18, 200223 yr Commercial Member Polarair-Yes- we are going to cover the entire range, as Vin pointed out!I had to laugh when I read your "I've never seen a real pilot do that" statement... In pure terms you are correct! Many of my first officers can tell you- I often leave nose prints on the windows of my airplane when a nice looking 747, A340 or 737 passes by on a converging track....So I might not get to look at my own airplane while in flight- but I sure enjoy the beauty of everone elses airplanes!Robert S. December 31, 200223 yr This NG737 sounds sweet. Some screenshots of the exteriour model would help us decide what else we want. Im about 50-50 when it comes to what I want. A detailed exteriour aircraft but with realistic aircraft systems in the office. Now...some things I would like to see on the Exteriour model. I dunno if they can be done, but here they are.1. Working APU. U can see the little nozzle at the back open.2. I dunno how to decribe this. U know when the machanics work on the engines, they open the side panels of the engines. I would love to see this animated.3. Opening doors both sides and cargo doors. But I would like them that u can open anyone u want. U dont have to open all of them at the same time. eg, The gate is on the right hand side but on the default planes, the doors open on the left.4.The usual things we are seeing in GMAX models, lolyeah ok...Im asking a lot. Im sure everyone would like this but it all comes down to framerates. Thanks for asking the public what they would like. I think all developers should do this.Cheers.
January 1, 200323 yr Hi, I don't know how far along you are on the project and if it's toolate to make any further suggestions; it's regarding the logo light onthe dorsal fin. Can you make the light to always stay on and /or allow the pilot to switch it on or off and that light is not coupled to any other lights. Sometimes other people who have aircraft availabe for download couple the logo light with the landing lights or taxi lights and I hate that. I want my logo light to be on or offwhen I want to. Thanks and have a Happy New Year. Tony
January 9, 200323 yr I also think you should focus more on the interior than exterior.Maby make a Virtual Cockpit like WilcoPub has done, with buttons you can push, and fly the plane from VC too.. :)
January 10, 200323 yr hi Vin,i agree with most of the guys. exteriors are not important (they should be there though ;) ). it Denis Kosbeck KPHX
January 11, 200323 yr Commercial Member "Eurowing"-the 737NG will definitely sport undockable windows of the PFD and ND, and even the EICAS screens. No worries there ;-).We have another ace up our sleeve on that topic, but I am not letting go of that just yet... ;-)Cheers, Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
January 11, 200323 yr any news on the release date? 1/2/3/4 Quartal?-------------------------------------------best,http://smilies.networkessence.net/s/cwm/cwm3d/3dbiggrin3.gif <- temporary sig :-hah RoyalSkies.CO.UK Youtube Vidz !My website will be back soon with new paints and videos! January 20, 200323 yr An Idea that might be a first in Addon Aircraft:Just saw your pictures of the glass cockpit displays and was reminded that my glass cockpit at the moment doesn't look that good, and doesn't fully support my current 737-400. Why not offer these as a undockable modul that could even be installed on a seperate computer (using that allround super utility FSUIPC - No I'm not a friend or in anyway related, just a happy user with many addons using it on my current installation) so that users who have the hardware can have a real class Cockpit like Project Magenta, Opengc.org or the FD...(forgot the name). It would have the advantage that everthing would work perfectly with the rest of the Plane and not need some kind of patch, or maybe only work 80% with your 737 NG, it would be a first, and as a feature for selling the product, probably highly helpful (Although, most are allready droolling with drawn walets or credit cards... :-) .....). Shouldn't be that hard to do?Happy Flying,Capt_Pete.PS: Naturally a realistic flight model is important, and a few Bells and whistles (but not at the expense of Framerates) are also good. A big sound file including capt. anouncements, and a auto-stewardess going through the safety breafing, that asks you to make sure that "you table is in an upright position", or "thank you for flying, please stay seated till..."... etc.... etc.. also ads tremendously to the flying experience (Even if you probably can't hear them in a real cockpit - have only flown in the back up till now.... :-) .....), Goflight compatabilty with their MCP (my current 737-400 isn't :-( ...) might also be great.PS2: Just read in some of the posts that something like the above m-a-y-b-e in the works? WOW!?..... *drool* *gettingcreditcardready* :-)
