July 18, 200322 yr hi PMDGi read somewhere that your 737 only supports FSbuild 2 in order to quickly and easily import flight plans into the FMC, if this is the case does that mean i have to also buy FSbuild to make full use of the FMC?Does the FMC support other freeware flight plans? If not, my only option is to manually enter every waaypoint? I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
July 18, 200322 yr Commercial Member You do realize that you can enter airways into the FMC and it will fill in all the waypoints on it for you right? While the real plane does have the company route function for quick loading a flightplan, I've been told that in practice it's almost never used because routing changes daily due to weather, ATC flow control, etc. Pilots have to enter stuff into the FMC manually - don't worry - once you get good at it and know where everything is supposed to go, it usually takes 5 mins to set it up.Ryan Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

July 18, 200322 yr Hi Clayton, lots of sources - en-route charts (try Vatsim, or government websites), flightplanners etc.Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
July 18, 200322 yr If you do a lot of flying in the USA you can also pick up a complete set of high altitude enroute charts at Sporty's Pilot Shop for $12.http://www.sportys.com/shoppilot/-Shaun

July 18, 200322 yr Moderator FSNav also shows the airways and each month Richard Stefan makes current data available via his website www.navdata.at/ although because of data issues the current AIRAC cycle is not available.FSNavigator is payware and a free upgrade is planned for FS2004 for registered owners.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). July 18, 200322 yr Can someone please answer the question: will the FMC load a microsoft flight plan? I know that "it isn't as real as it gets" but I don't have a lot of time - so I'm not that thrilled with manual entry of flight plans or having to buy FS Build. Also, can someone verify you can input a high altitude airway with its designator, and not input every single waypoint? Thanks for the info. This is a really big deal for me - as both the Dreamfleet 734 and the PIC allow both of these. Colin Ware
July 18, 200322 yr Moderator Colin,<,Can someone please answer the question: will the FMC load a microsoft flight plan? >>Take it easy! No one but you has asked that question up to now. The short answer is no. The answer to your second question is yes. Ray (Cheshire, England). July 18, 200322 yr Colin ...Yes, I will confirm that "airways/jetroutes" do in fact expand to the multiple waypoints. Here is a quick example for a flight between Madrid and Lisbon.LEMD-TLD-G7-ATECA-LPPT (This came from FSBuild 2.0).Simply set up the Route for LEMD to LPPT. Then on page 2 enter TLD (the Toledo VOR and first waypoint) on the right side (a DIRECT waypoint). On the next line enter G7 on the left, and ATECA on the right ... and viola ... there you have it. activate and exec ... and you will see your route nicely expanded on the LEGS page, and in PLAN MODE on the ND as you STEP through the legs.Good luck
July 18, 200322 yr Author freeware version?i thought the PMDG 737 only supports FSbuild 2. I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
