FSUIPC 3.128 and PMDG autopilot

Featured Replies

Anyone else having trouble with the PMDG's autopilot function's after installing the newest version of FSUIPC (3.128). After installing the new version, all of my autopilot function's quit passing along command's to the aircraft. Same with the Autothrottle. All the correct light's and button work as normal, however the aircraft will only respond to manual command from the yoke, peddles or throttles.Steve ParkKSDF

Hi, Yes I am having some problems that I assume are related to the new FSUIPC 3.128. When I start up in the NG, the whole panel is dead, but when I click on any of the displays to move it, the whole thing comes alive. Will go back to 3.125 I guess.Paul ( SPIM )

Update.. I went back to 3.125 and everything is back to it's near perfect self. ( soon to be fully perfect with SU2 I hope )Paul ( SPIM )

Lately it seems that with each new version of FSUICP, there are problems with one add-on or the other. Perhaps it's the added complexity of the accreditation system...not a happy situation. Fixed versions usually follow soon, though. But for now it's advisable to keep a back-up of the previous version-always a good idea anyway.Best,Martijn

Yes, I saw reports of similar issues over at the SSWA310 forum with the new FSUIPC. I know one of the changes Pete put in was something to bolster the registration function so that could possibly be part of the problem. Glad you reported before too many upgraded...regards,

I got it. Thank you very much!!!David P.

I also didn't backup FSUIPC. Could someone send me 3.125. thank [email protected] mind, Peter has come out with 3.129 already. You can get it here at AVSIM.

Hi, Same here the panel is dead to untilI clickon it.Has somebody tested SU2 with the new release?David Bowen.

V3.129 now available on AVSIM. RElease notes indicate the problem seems to have been fixed./Jimi

>V3.129 now available on AVSIM. RElease notes indicate the problem seems to have been fixed.Well the autopilot is ok its the localizer capture which is now buggered up. I've flown two flights this evening with the Garmin 530 from RXP and neither time did I capture the localizer -nothing - nada. Definite problem with 3.129 as well.

I have just installed fsuipc 3.129. Nothing changed. When I try to set V2 during preflight on MCP, pink square on the speed indicator still does not move. My previous version of fsuipc was 2.96. Could somebody send me v3.125? if it's not difficult for you send to [email protected] you very much!

Hey guys, first things first... I have installed the latest, I mean 3.128 at the time, and it worked as it has always done. Tried today the next, updated version and again all things worked fine...So, whatever went wrong, imho there's nothing wrong with the fsuipc's from Pete BUT... I used a registered version. And that brings me to my next point... When we start a topic about problems with the uipc.dll... wouldn't it be better to mention straight out whether it is a registered or a freeware version.I have seen problems a numerous occasions but always with the freeware version.Since I have found pete's works of an outstanding value I was all too glad to pay those few dollars. At first, I thought I did it for his dedication, now I realise that the registered version works better than the freeware version.I guess Pete will says that this is not the intention but my view is that accrediting all those different addon's isn't as straightforward as it should be...And let's be honest... his work is worth more than those few dollars he asks us to register his product...Luc 'Glaudrung' BrusselmansBelgium

Hi,Luc:This is the first time that I post in this forum, because I bought on Saturday the PMDG 737, and I am impressed with this outstanding product, so I decided to come around this place.FSUIPC 3.128 was buggy. I tested and for me it had no effect with some systems of the ac; but you can go to Pete
