February 12, 200422 yr Hello Jeff,I believe that MSFS has some limitations and thus not everything can be simulated. PS1.3 on the other hand, was designed as B744 computer based simulator and thus many things are included. However, there are some drawbacks, like to "real" visuals. But visuals are not the most important part of that sim.If PMDG guys have passed these limitations than it should be same as PS1.3.Cheers,Andrej
February 12, 200422 yr We will provide the best combination in terms of visuals and functionality within what is reasonable for an FS add-on. Don't forget the price tag of PS1.3 is a couple of hundred dollars and it took years to be developed. For now, all I can say is that we are still in the early development phase and the exact specifications of the product have not been determined yet. So stay tuned for more details... oh, and let's not forget the upcoming 737-800/900 product. ;)
February 12, 200422 yr I hate to be a stickler for accuracy as well. But, the thought that crosses my mind is that every single airline orders their birds with different features, even in the cockpit - or should I say especially in the cockpit. The difference between the cockpit of an old Delta 747-200 (no longer in service at Delta of course) and the 747-200s' that United purchased were quite different. Atlas cargo has always been known for ordering or installing by themselves different gauges and such. So, that "hole" may not be a standard feature.Wilson HinesUAL006VHQCCSenior Vice President, Corporate Communicationshttp://virtual.united.com --------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727,PMDG 737-700---------------------------------------FS2002|ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoaderhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpghttp://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg
February 12, 200422 yr This is going to be expensive...I can feel it.Wilson HinesUAL006VHQCCSenior Vice President, Corporate Communicationshttp://virtual.united.com --------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727,PMDG 737-700---------------------------------------FS2002|ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoaderhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpghttp://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg
February 12, 200422 yr This is great. Finally someone is going to do this airplane justice. PMDG is really taking over FS add ons. Andrew
