>>>How About a Winglet Version 2.....that would look really>sweet....>>>Thanks for listening.......maybe you will consider a TED>livery as well.>>>RandyWell, now I'm not shure if I should do a version with winglets or one without. And if it should be with winglets, are they painted as well?Maybe Wilson could answer this one...:-) Anyway, I'll finish it today and as soon as I get a confirmation that it's o.k. I will upload it.As for the TED: Yes, I'll put it on my list.CheersThomas

Well, technically, there aren't any 737-600 or 700s in the UAL fleet. I fly the PMDG because, obviuosly, there isn't any payware models of the 300,400,500 out there that are worth a crap, IMHO. DreamFleet just doesn't cut it. So, we let our pilots fly the 737NG by PMDG because of the lack of other good equipment on the market. As far as winglets, that is nice and neat. I wouldn't have a problem with our pilots flying a winglet version, even though I don't think we will ever see a NG at UAL. You may ask why I don't think we will ever see a NG at UAL? Airbus. They have been buying them for the smaller birds for a while now. On the winglet paint, if there were any in the fleet, I would assure you they would be painted. How? Who knows.I hope this makes sense, I just woke up :)Wilson HinesUAL006VHQCCSenior Vice President, Corporate Communicationshttp://virtual.united.com --------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727,PMDG 737-700---------------------------------------FS2002|ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoaderhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpghttp://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg

O.K., this should be the final Version. As soon as I get a notification from Virtual United that the repaint is correct I'll upload it.BTW, I'm NOT going to do a winglet version, since whoever wants a winglet version can install my repaint into the winglet folder.CheersThomashttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/63910.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/63911.jpg

Thomas, Just downloaded and installed the new paint scheme for UAL, just a great job, really impressed. IF you have time, could you add a 737-700 winglet version. I am sure the winglet would be the engine blue keeping with how UAL did it before. Did your UAL contact tell you anything how what they will do with the wing tip on their A319 and 320's?Thanks Again for a nice job ThomasBob JohnsonKDEN

Nice re-paint.Here's a pic of a real one (a -300 version I think)http://jetphotos.com/ual825.jpg(jetphotos.com/ual825.jpg)CheersDavid

I too downloaded the paint scheme and I must say it is outstanding. Thomas, you are a credit to the flight sim community. Your work is greatly appreciated by all. I look forward to future paints that you may have in the pipeline! Thanks again,Tom Stewart

>Did your UAL contact tell you anything how what they will do>with the wing tip on their A319 and 320's?>Bob,no, I don't have any information on that, but I guess that the winglets will be like the ones of the United Express (see pic).http://www.airliners.net/open.file/512745/L/Guys, thank you all very much for your kind words. As I have been asked several times if I could do the repaint with/without winglets, clean, dirty and so on, I think that for my future repaints I'm going to upload a package that contains all four versions so everyone can choose. And maybe I will write an installer for the liveries.Thank you and enjoyThomas
