March 11, 200422 yr Commercial Member Captains-We are just about to wrap up development on the PMDG 737-800/900!I expect that the airplane will be turned over to beta testers in approximately one week, which means that we are relatively close to general product release! Here are a few images we did this afternoon for your enjoyment, as well as ours! (As you can see...this was fun to orchestrate!)First: Here is a sample of the entire PMDG 737 range... (missing are one 700 and one 800 variant respectively- but it gives you a good idea of the scope of the airplane size!)http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...oup_Flight1.jpgSecond: This is a pretty image that shows off the beautiful (And proportionate!) lines of the 800 winglets and the 900!http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...oup_Flight2.jpgThird: To give you an idea how much different the 600 and 900 are in SIZE! Yes- in flight you can practically tuck the 600 into the forward quadrant of the 900....simply amazing!http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...oup_Flight3.jpgIn scanning the forum you all have posted a thousand questions about what will/will not be included in the 800/900.... I'm in the process of collecting all the details and putting them together for you... Look for a post later in the week, during the weekend or early next week announcing the full release details! Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com

March 11, 200422 yr RobertThanks for the new images, I guess. :-)You do know that they make the time until release pass even slower and dangerously increase the danger of us dehydrating due to excessive drooling, don't you? Please roll those babies out yesterday, wil you! ;-)Just kidding, of course! I'll patiently wait until the beta and development team are satisified with them. Once they're done I'll have five types to fly again in FS9 (All I use lately are the PMDG 737s and the Flight 1 Meridian). Thanks again to the whole PMDG team for giving us such great planes, they're worth every penny we pay for them and then some!
