Question for PMDG

Featured Replies

You guys wouldnt happen to continue the Express part of PMDG and possibly make a Dash 8-100. I absolutly love the Dash 8-100 and I would pay any amount to see it. Would you happen to ever consider it????ThanksRyan Davis

Also would like to see a Dash 8-100. Perhaps between now and the 747-400 release!Paul

Oh sure, I just pick up the 1900 and you guys wanna get a Dash??? Well, I guess I can find room in the hanger somewhere!:D Honestly though, I'd sooner see a Q-400 Dash. Anyway you look at it, if PMDG builds it, I will fly it!:-wave

dash 8-400 would be good. I will take it. a little big though. We need something between the dash 8-100 and 400. Perhaps a 200 or 300?Paul HermanWWW.premierairways.com

PSS already has the 300. So Id LOOOOOOVE TO SEE a 100. We need something that fills the gap from a B1900 to the Dash 8-300 of PSS. COME ON!! -100 babY!! WOOOOO HOOOOO LOL.-Ryan

I would love to see a Cessna trainer from PMDG...seriously.

Hey, I'm all for a Dash 8-100! Great suggestion. :)

Mmmmmmmm Dash 8-100. All in favor say I. :-jumpy-Ryan

Hey guys that is a great idea. I second the baby Dash. I am a fan of the short variant with shorter takeoff and landing. I love squeezing them into tiny fields in the hills. My request is that if you do it could you please please please please do a Q200 version, the hot and high with the big engines, yummy.I would actually like to see this plane as a full PMDG title with all the complications that go with it, as opposed to an Express title. This is of course my opinion and if it was express version or no version the express is grand!

I can only agree more, gosh I love this plane. It gives me the chills when ever Im in Charlotte, NC and I see about 190148148191 landing a day :-jumpy hehe.

Well, I think that its not neccessary to build a -300 as a very very professionally developed and with great systems 300 is being released very soon ;););) Keep 'ur eyes open.

If PMDG releases a Dash 8-300 I'd be dissapointed because their already is a great one out there. Seriously though, a -100 is NEEDED. But also, I reeeeally wish PMDG would continue the 737 series with a -200 -300 -400 -500.

Guys, guys, remember there is one Dash 8-300Q coming really soon and I bet is going to be as complex as PMDG non-express products, and not only that, there is also a Dash 8-400Q also coming in the near future by the same guys. You all probable know about Oleksiy Frolov's fabulous freeware Dash 8-300Q, imagine that airplane made payware, it has to be awesome. You can read more about it in this non-official page:http://fandafans.fscentre.com/You can talk about it here:http://forums.fscentre.com/index.php?showforum=6Instead of PMDG doing something that already is being done -apparently really well-, why not focus their great talent in something else.Aside from your great airplanes, I suggest creating new add-ons (i.e. modules) for your existing ones, for example. Imagine a module that logs the use/misused of the B737. Something that logs a series of parameters (VS during landing, thrust settings, in flight turbulence, landing weight, even how fast the user moves the throttle, etc, etc, etc) and then creates "realistic" failures depending on the damage infringed on the airplane during previous flights, the user might have the ability to change some sort of setting to make the damage engine more sensible (we know the odds of a mechanical malfunction in a real airliner) making the probabilities of an in flight emergency more likely for a regular sim user. This module might also contain something like an Airline Simulation option, where we could be able to simulate the use of the B737 in an Airline environment, something like (among other things like simulating cost, revenues, etc) be able to fly the airplane from A to B, then we would be only able to fly it from B (and only :( to anywhere else, and so on, this feature coupled with a full ACARS system and in a virtual airline environment would be amazing. Another feature might be some sort of flight evaluation made by passengers (virtual passengers), depending on the smoothness of your flight,a virtual passenger might rate your flight, I think ATP simulator by Audilogic (or whatever) back in the 80s had this feature, it was pretty neat, it gave you a different reason for flying the airplane correctly. The idea is to fly the airplanes for some other reason than learning how to fly it and to look outside the cockpit window and enjoy the scenery. The idea is to fly knowing that if you don't do it correctly you might damage something that would cost you (or your virtual airline) thousand of dollars, euros, yens, etc; it would make you to fly correctly, smoothly and within your schedule if you want happy passengers. I hope you get the idea; it would be great if we start flying "non-perfect" empty airplanes, after all, we don't want to get bored of flying this great aircraft, do we?I hope you like the idea,Regards,Carlos.

I'd like to start a vote for a nicely done Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia.
