Question for PMDG

Featured Replies

Hear Hear VinCarlos has a great idea for failure management. I posted a while back about a system that would fail systems based on failure rates in the real world, multipled by your impatience factor, not many of us pull 8000 hours between engine inspections. I think that to include a usage log with an aircraft (MSFS permitting) and to have that relate to your 'performance' is a great idea.cheers, Nick

I was hoping someone would suggest a Dash 8! I didn't dare, due to PSS's (which I have), but I absolutely think that would be a superb idea, especially coming from PMDG. I don't think there's one accurate visual model out there, presently.:)Mike F.

I'd like to vote for the Embraer EMB-120.There is already a Dash -300 out by PSS. There is another -300 on the way from the Fanda guys and a -400 from the Fanda guys. In addition, I also saw a -400 on the Dreamwings website.A -100 model isn't a whole lot different from the ones above.Personally, I'd like to see something different.:)

I agree with what others have said... Why not make something that hasnt already been done or in the works? I have the PSS Dash-8 and couldnt ask for anything more detailed. There was a post earlier on that was like this.. most people that asked for a certain aircraft, found out that there is already one being built right now.I would like to see that program that creates realistic failures depending on how the aircraft is flown!Cheers,Ryan

Dash 8-100 Yup... Me too...I whined, begged, pleaded in an attempt to get PSS to model the -100..I can't imagine how awesome the quality of a PMDG Dash8 would be...Imagine for second what it would be like with Frolov's sound or even better (if there is such a thing!)I better quit... NOW... or I'm gonna have to change my Pamper!Regards,Ted Panamarioff - Kodiak, Alaska

Dornier 228 for me plz. She's so exotic.

John,Can you give us a timeframe on when we might know what the next aircraft will be?Trevor

The dash 8-100 and the dash 8-300 / 400 vary greatly from one another. Different dimensions, speeds, handeling, engines...ect. Id love to see a Dash 8-100 as many fly it. The EMB-120 is only flown by UAL/DL now and thats it. Practically 0 flights out there compared to the good ole dash 8-100. But in all reality, Id want to see PMDG do more express aircraft than mainline. Heres my list of turboprops id like to see...1.) Dash 8-1002.) EMB-120 Brasilia ( I love EMB, my favorite aircraft manufacturer)3.) ATR-42/72

This is what I would like PMDG to do as their next Express release:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/75719.jpgIt's massive when you are standing in front of it. This picture taken yesterday at Buttonville Airport in Toronto.Cheers,
