As far as I have noticed....When enroute, as you approach or fly near a major airport, UT loads up a hell of alot of traffic for that airport, even though you are flying over at 35,000ft.Look at my first screenshot above, you can see all the static aircraft marked "sleep". If you are flying over a major airport, you should use the "traffic explorer" to select all of these cpu hogs and delete them. They are useless and pointless. This is a much more efficent and specific way of reducing AI traffic, than the generic FSUIPC method, because I do not want to touch AI traffic in the air, only on the ground.Imagine you're flying from Hawaii to Vegas, and passing near Los Angeles... UT will probably load 100 or so static planes at Los Angeles while you are 20000 ft above! This is a classic UT hidden cpu hit, and you wonder why your machine suddenly starts stuttering while youre in the middle of nowhere??!!If you dont use traffic explorer, UT is gonna give you problems while flying near dense airports. Its free and straight from the MS Flight Simulator website, official stuff!!!! Really useful.Armen L Cholakianwww.veryquiet.com

Hi,how to assign traffic density to keys:Goto the keys tab in the FSUIPC dialog. Set a key. Then select "Traffic Density Set" in the dropdown box "Controls sent when keys pressed" and add the percentage of traffic in the "parameter" field.Or just add the following to your fsuipc.ini in the "Keys" section:0=117,11,1008,401=118,11,1008,602=119,11,1008,803=116,11,1008,5You can set the traffic density from 5-80% then using Ctrl+Shift+F5 - Ctrl+Shift+F7.Alex
