February 12, 200620 yr 744 makes a nice CATIII landing at KBOS during the snow storm. Running w/ ASV6 using RT weather. February 13, 200620 yr Pat, how is AS6? Are there any control or nav. issues with RT weather? I use a PMDG, LDS etc. Thanks, Joe Joe Colao
February 13, 200620 yr I just landed in Boston and the weather has cleared up a bit. Light snow with winds at 15 out of the north east. Visibility was good enough to manually bring her in from 1000 feet. Great fun! Also using AV6 and find it an excellent addition for weather control. I have not found any negative effects of AV6 on the Queen. Bob... Bob Prince
February 13, 200620 yr AS6 is great, and I have had no issues from it with pmdg, lds or any other addon. I simply can not fly without it. It makes it a whole lot better flying experience. Rúni B. Larsen.

February 13, 200620 yr Author I agree, ASV6 works fine w/ 744, LDS, and other complex planes. Aside from the graphical improvements, it provides winds aloft, which is used by FSBuild to calculate fuel load for 744 and LDS. Of course, winds loft shifting (FS9 thing) can cause VNAV to sometimes lose control authority, but it's never been a real issue.PatAMD A64 4000+ @ 2.6GHz, Zalman7700Cu cooler, Corsair XMS 1GB DDR, LTK6800GT-OC, Asus A8V MoBo, WDRaptor10KrpmHDD, TrackIR4, CH FSYoke + TQ, XP-hsp2 R9-9950X3D 32G | RTX5090 | 3T m.2 | Win11 | vkb-gf ultimate & pedals | virpil cm3 throttle | tm boeing yoke | pimax super uw | DCS
