PMDG's Next Aircraft After the MD-11 & NGX

Recommended Posts

I believe they have already said it would be an A320. Seeing as nobody has even come close to a PMDG level A320 I am behind that. Now this is not a cut on PMDG or any other develpoer but seeing as how long it takes to develop an airplane I believe it will be a very long time before we see this.

I think it should be an A/C that you don't see much about anymore like a vintage model or you know something like the tri motor thats an old plan and is a commercial A/C or the BBJ like a business Jet or something it does however end up being their say when it comes to it thoughSignature Rules: 1.) Not to insult anyone, but at this rate I would not expect to see that plane being released within 5 years. By that time, there will be 3 proven A320's out with three levels of realism. All three will have been proven by then. PMDG stated they won't do a 777 because there's already one good enough out there, so I highly doubt PMDG will start in 2 years' time with an airplane that's 22 years old and with at least three other designers publishing it.Given the unexpected FSX irregularities and gross MD-11 (and thus subsequent) model delays, PMDG will stray from the A320 line. And it's no problem for me, by then there will be good A320 out there. There still is no 777-200ER, or expert level A330/340 in the works. If they want to push their envelope, A380 or 787 by then.Xander

Personally I've had enough of long haul jumbos for now - it starts to get redundant. If I could have what I wanted NOW (besides the MD-11 because it's my favorite commercial aircraft) I'd like to see a top level regional jet. However given the development time of top level aircraft, it's likely that their next aircraft after the MD-11 would be for FSX and FS11, I doubt they'd make it for FS9, which means for those of us that are FS9 users, we're going to either have to move on eventually and be stuck with the same aircraft forever - PMDG will certainly be leading the way along with the other top tier developers for aircraft for the newer FS version, which will of course mean any aircraft they choose for said version will be new.

If they can get all their Airbuses working at their advertised level then there will be good high level ones out there. I would selfishly love to see a PMDG A320 becaue I want to do shorter flights. I fly a 737-800 and will likely only fly Boeings in my career so I would like to fly something different in FS.

Hi,the most important aircraft to me after the MD 11 has been released is the NGX. I think an updated version of the very successful 737 would be great besides a nice A 320. PMDG, I hope it won
