[MD-11] Terrain warning

Hi Guys,Everytime I am on approach from about 200ft AGL 'till the ground the EGPWS is shouting out: terrain, terrain. My F/O is going crazy ;-) something I can do about it ?Grtz,Sean

Same issue, that should be inhibited when in landing configuration - I suppose thats pretty easy to fix though ?!Cheers,Niklas

Ryan,Don't have the GPWS terrain calls during a normal approach.However,When making a Go-around, retrackting Flaps28, so leaving the approach configuration, GPWS starts giving these non appropriate calls. Also FMA starts flashing Ground Prox warnings.So, when investigating GPWS during approach, please have a look at the GA part as well.Regards,Harry

Not 100% sure, but I think I only heard this during an autoland approach...Niklas

Instead of saying "terrain, terrain" the flight officer on my MD-11 says "too low, terrain". This only happens when the "Appr/Land" switch is engaged. Fortunately my landings proceed without further incident. Peter
