October 9, 200223 yr Commercial Member >I suggest saying "under" and >"un-under" instead so there will be no confusion. ;-) Very funny.So...As in: My 763 is underpowered and my piloting skills are un-under-powered?DSCVA3339 The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
October 9, 200223 yr >As in: My 763 is underpowered and my piloting skills are >un-under-powered? Didn't we just make it clear that a twin (which the 763 is) can't be underpowered, so it's obviously un-underpowered. I can't comment on your piloting skills. ;-) :-lolMartin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
October 9, 200223 yr So does that mean that the 762 is only underpowered compared to its brother, the 763? That is, the 763 is more overpowered than the 762 (which then can be defined as just "powered", obviously ;-)).Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
October 9, 200223 yr My brain hurts from reading this thread...."And then, Daryl vanished in a puff of logic."Fly more, write less.Today's VATSIM comment - PIC ube alle - translated is "PIC over all".
October 9, 200223 yr >Opps. It's only the 767-200s that are underpowered, not the >300s.Preston. The above doesn't make sense if you consider that they both share the same engine but 767-200 is actually lighter than the '300'. So if there is any 'underpowered' in this crowd it would have to be the '300'. Michael J. Michael J.
October 10, 200223 yr My statement came from posky's 767 flight manual in the FAQ section, page 20.Fro the 767-200s, what happens if you loose an engine on takeoff?...you must drop the nose then gain airsprred, rudder it out, but watch for terrain. The 767-200s are really underpowered.
