Why It's Good to Have a VFR/Landing View...

Featured Replies

In case you ever have to do an approach like this... Enjoy!Phil Geddes

And there's no way you could possibly fly it in 3/4 mile visiblity without a view like this...

Hello~~ Do you use the HK scenery from Flightsoft? I just bought it yesterday, after installed it, there's nothing changed until i add it in FS2002 scenery library, but the manual dosen't mention it!! while i try to takeoff from Kai Tak rwy13, my aircraft sunk into the runway and crashed!! so until now, still can't use that scenery. Can you give me some idea? i already ask Flightsoft, but they haven't reply yet~~ :-grr btw, my only word to describe your VFR view " Excellent " and thank you~~;)

>And there's no way you could possibly fly it in 3/4 mile >visiblity without a view like this... Can you email me your last landing view at this address : [email protected] company has intercepted your previous mail with it ([email protected]) I'm french but in a UK company and in the UK, they have the right to do that, not in france !!!! arghhh, I hate that. Thanks in advance,Best regards,Guillaume

What is the wing view that you have included there? I have not seen that with the PIC. Aaron.

Oh, I know Michal, I wasn't trying to disrespect Lee's work! I really meant any landing view in general. :-)Phil Geddes

I used active-cam pro 1.3 for the wing shots, with the default PIC 767 aircraft! What a wonderful program, huh??? I'll certainly be playing with that more in the future!Regards,Phil Geddes

Just curious....why would you want to use the Wilco default model with all those beautiul POSKY repaints out there? Your panel view is very nice. You will get better frame rates, and your wing shots would be simply awesome if you had used the POSKY model.Just a suggestion...Lee H has a merge to make it all very easy.Rob.

Uhmmm... And your DH set to 200' (seems unchanged...) *:-*!!! lolPosted some comments regarding the shots in the SS forum... :DEtienne :-wave

How do you make it so you can see your own aircraft? The only reason I'm using the default model is because I don't know how to make it so I can see myself in VC mode with the POSKY 767-300... Or any other cockpit mode for that matter. Any ideas? Thanks,Phil Geddes

Ahhh, I understand now why you used the Wilco default.Sorry I have no ideas as to how to manipulate the VC view in the POSKY jet...sorry...but now that you have stated so on this forum, I am sure someone will pipe up with a method to do this.Brilliant work.Rob.

Very nice!Which Hong Kong scenery package are you using? It looks too detailed to be freeware :(

Hey, thanks for sharing those shots Phil :-cool , just gotta find time to do that approach again with the new view , even if it means going back to FS2k with Thomas Kwong's (sp?) freewre HK
