Thanks for your kind words Mike.

Mike,What a great post.I updated my "PIC must have stuff" -thread at fsnordic.net immediately after trying the taxi mod :). It is fabulous.I have a question on something else: what is the correct value for rudder_effectiveness for PIC to be able to handle SEO procedures ? Secondly, do you use yaw damper/auto coord. with the mentioned value? I have it at 24 and have noticed that rudder has almost no effect in the air... unless I turn BOTH autocoord AND yaw damper OFF. There's something I'm missing here, isn't there ?Tero

I'm sorry but I'm a bit confused as to where to pick up the mod?Aaron

Stunning modification, does it also increase landing roll distance? I've always thought I could stop too quickly. Many thanks, PIC767 is truely a work of science.

you may feel you stop to quickly, and that is a fact.In FS if you press '.' or any other key assigned to 'brakes' you give 100% brake pressure slowing you down with a maximum negative acceleration. In real life however pilots have 'gradual braking' wich means they can brake much more softly. I'm not sure if an axis can be defined for braking in FS but i thought it was possible.I always land using autobrakes 2 for normal conditions, autobrakes 3 for a wet runway, 4 for a short runway and max for a short-wet runway or simply a very short runway. Not sure if autobrakes 1 is ever used... Can one of the real world drivers come in here and enlighten us?So to conclude: you can land a 767 very short but it wouldn't be very comfortable for the pax, brakes and gear.

Autobrake 1 is used on the 757, but not on the 767 as it induces brake resonance.

>I'm not sure if an axis can be defined for braking in FS but i>thought it was possible.Yes, there are even two axis for left and right brake. I use CH Pro Pedals USB, braking works very good with them :-)Regards,Matthias Neusinger (EDDN)

Matthias,I use the CH Pro Pedals USB also. Where can you get the two axis to work? My brakes seem to also stop very fast when I press them.Bob

The info you need is explained at this site by Nico Kaan: http://home.planet.nl/~nwkaan/Look under FlightsimBrgds,EHAM8 :-wave
