April 30, 200323 yr When you do you solo X-country, make sure the day is stable. I went in YTE with unstable air and a ton of convecting air. The comfort bag was used! LOL Not a fun time over St. Thomas
April 30, 200323 yr Mike, this is one of the greatest post I have seen in a long time. Thanks for it, thanks to Matthias and Bozhan for their efforts in bringing PIC a step closer to an almost perfect simulation. I have also noticed the small forward movement but as said by many it is a very acceptable trade-off given the great improvement made possible. One last comment if I may, I am really impressed by the extensive contribution of so many. It shows dedication without ego, true commitment to one of the best ever produced simulation and assiduity to this forum. All this makes me join Mike in my feeling of being proud to be part of this community. Thanks Michael
April 30, 200323 yr LOL! Saturday was pretty crazy, north field was reporting 350/5 or less and southern end was showing 200-250 @ 10-20 kts. Landing on 06 made things interesting, needless to say. Was supposed to fly YTE that day, but the right mag called it a day during the runup.
May 1, 200323 yr Hi all!I just played around with the table entries to see if I can avoid the creeping problem. Even if I decreased the values enough, that I couldn
May 1, 200323 yr Or leave the engine on reverse thrust to compensate for the creep.Just kidding of course, don't try it at home. nor at the gates ;-)Ilan
May 1, 200323 yr Matthias,Thanks for trying to tweak the air file further. The modification is great and the creeping problem is a very small trade off for a much more realistic taxi.Thank you.
