May 25, 200323 yr You know Tom, your answer IS offensive .. it was just a simple question which does not require your sarcasm and inuendo.To add the MSFS GPS Map1. backup your panel.cfg first to panel.cfgold or something2. add this at the top of the panel.cfg in the section titled Window Titles .... window08=gps3. add these lines as window 8 in the body of the file[Window08]size_mm=252, 350 WINDOW_POS=0.75,0.49 BACKGROUND_COLOR=16,16,16VISIBLE=0ident=27gauge00=gps!gps,0, 0, 252, 350That's it. I have window 8 used because FS_Meteo uses window 7. To activate, press SHIFT - 9. You can move and resize the window once it is open and use SHIFT-9 to close the map window.Please note that the MSFS GPS flight plan is not useable for the 767, unless of course you want to simply use Heading Select and follow the headings provided by the GPS. I think the map is nice to use for situational awareness and a sense of what borders I am crossing especially on flights in geographies for which I am not overly familiar.. In addition, if you use Radar Contact, and you can follow the flight plan on the GPS map.However, if you want the 767 AP to "fly your flightplan", you have to learn the FMC to set up your flight plan route for the AP to follow. This forum has lots of great info and help on that topic. The FMC Manual also is the "FMC Bible"Good Luck!!

Not unless you are a pilot and you want to sharpen your skills all the time, then it is ok. Otherwise, I can do whatever I can ask for the help of the good people on this forum for adding a GPS, or even how to add a naked woman in the right seat:-).So no offence is taken, but it is a simulated world, and I can add whatever I want.
