December 27, 200322 yr is there anyway to get the 767 into FS2004? i really dont want to reinstall FS2002 because of comp space.adamYou cant truley understand flying until you have actually tasted and felt it.
December 27, 200322 yr asked many times...answered many times...you might want to try a search CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K
December 28, 200322 yr No Adam it does not work in fs9, don't listen to those who say it does. If it was a *simple* fix Wade would have done it already but as many developers have found out, FS9 effects many many things badly for complex add-ons such as PIC, so in effect it worked to everyone's advantage since Wade will be adding some more cool options.. Have to wait with the rest of the crowd for the New version...[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg Randy J Smith
January 2, 200422 yr I am keen to get a copy of this Zip file which provides instruction on getting PIC767 running under FS2004, albeit in a restricted manner.Could someone please email it to me.Thanks and CheersIan([email protected])
January 2, 200422 yr Someone somewhere said they were using 767Pic in FS2004 but without the FS2002 patch... Has anyone here tried that? Install 767Pic, but don't run the FS2002 patch(update). Someone said that FS2004 was using the same engine as FS2000?I don't know if this works or not, but thought I'd share... I went back to FS2002 so I could contiue to enjoy all my many add-on aircraft...RJ
January 5, 200422 yr I tryed installing PIC without the 2002 patch, It just crashed my FS2004. You can try and see if you have better luck, but for me it didn't work.
January 5, 200422 yr Why don't you people already give it a rest ??Original PIC doesn't work in FS2004 properly. The new one does, and it's only a matter of time when it's out.So, a little patience is what you need.Tero PPL(A)
January 5, 200422 yr Hi Tero,I don't know if this guy has got the right idea? It appears the DF737 is now working in FS9;http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/DC...mID3/11131.htmlIs the PIC 767 similar?
January 5, 200422 yr I can't help thinking there is a really easy fix to making PIC work in 2k4, everything works nicely apart from those gauges.
January 6, 200422 yr ""Why don't you people already give it a rest ??""Tero, if everyone had an attitude like yours, we 'd all still be living in sod huts....On the other hand, I guess today's society has become very lazy, and Tero's attitude says it all "don't bother, let someone else do it".. Sad to see individuals with no drive to achieve anything in life....RJPS: tinkering has given way to many innovations. After a few hours of tinkering, here is a 737-200 panel I'm working on...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/56443.jpg
January 6, 200422 yr WEll Tero is right. It's not *attitude* but *needed* information. Those who have flown PIC for many years knows how it should fly, it's not just the gauges that is screwed up in FS9, it's the whole AFDS, trim etc. Take a look at Dreamfleet and RealAir, B-25 etc, they all had to provide MAJOR updates to get their planes to work *right* in FS9. Now of course there are some fellas who would not even know what *is* wrong but when people who know what they are talking about say it does not work, we should listen. Is anyone stopping you from trying it? I stand by my original post on this matter, it does not work correctly, i.e.- it's not PIC if you choose to install it this way, if you can live with that, cool with me but don't knock us for warning you.. January 6, 200422 yr No I got the point, it's just your point was not valid because it rests upon a misconception which is that people messing with PIC somehow will work correctly in FS9. Progress does not depend on on the hut builders but the hut designers ;)[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg Randy J Smith
