767 in FS2004

:-lolOk, I'll bit.... and disagree..Progress depends on BOTH the hut designers and the hut builders. Without the hut builders, who would build the aircraft the hut designers design? :-rollNow I'm starting to sound like a hut designer :-lol;-) RJ

Ok, in a very general sense you are correct ;) although because of the lack of undestanding of the inner workings and code of PIC, I very much doubt any user contributuion other than suggestions would change anything... By the way, nice panel, is that all your work? [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg

RJ,I resent comments like that.My point is exactly what Randy was telling here. Let's make it even more simple.a) original PIC doesn't work in FS2004:( original PIC can be made to work in FS2004 partially, however, there are a LOT of deficiencies in these frankenstein patches, things that I myself will not take lightlyc) NEW PIC is on the way, it is made for FS2004, and it shouldn't be too long anymored) questions about "why doesn't PIC work in FS2004" have been asked and answered many times.... the horse has been dead for ages, it's been eaten 10 times already and then resurrected for some more beating.Does my answer seem logical now ? Or do you still consider me lazy ? Well, if you think I have never contributed anything for the community then that must be.Going back to my hut now.Tero

Tero, sorry if I offended you, but don't jump down other peoples throats when they ask a question, or suggest a fix. Just because you hang out in this forum all the time, DOES NOT MEAN, everyone in the world that has 767PIC, is like you... Next time don't be so negative towards possible solutions. After all, if you keep an open mind, anything is possible... Wilbur, and Orville Wright were both hut designers and the hut builders....Cheers RJ

RJ,I don't have an illusion of having "special rights" because of hanging out here regularly. It's a matter of common sense, not negativity.Like it's been said many times already, this issue has been raised "many" times before, often there are questions about FS2004 compatilibity one after another on the first page. Reading those for months makes it annoying, especially since there's also the option of scrolling through pages 1-X and the search function. I'm not telling that people shouldn't post questions, I'm merely expecting some level of initiative from them. And I also hate to say this, but... this board is often critisiced of being an "elite-hangout", a place where rare have the courage to post, because they're afraid of jackasses such as myself jumping down their throats. It might be so, but there's another side to that coin also. You won't find a lot of that not-so-interesting stuff from this board, that you definitely will elsewhere. And that's why I like it here. And no, I will not support frankensteing FS2004 patches. I know what keeping an open mind means though. I've had my share of panel, FDE and sounds tuning with PIC767 myself, so please don't go down that path.Tero

Go get 'em Tero! Those of of you who persist in asking about the PIC and FS9: none of you are invited to the ultra-cool elitist PIC767 clubhouse that is currently being designed, constructed and "debugged" by a personal friend of mine, and inventor of the internet, Al Gore.Only elitists are allowed in.In fact, it's so elite, I may not be able to get in. BUT...Al has confirmed that Wade Chafe is definitely in (I think Wade helped him with some troubling "chads" that were hanging around). Rob Hall is in (because he looks like Al's favourite movie star: Shrek). Mike Bevington is in (because Mike is ultra cool). Mike Murphy is definitely in (because he's a cop). Mark McGrath may get in (if Al gets his translator to work). Tero is in, because he's from Finland and Finland is always cool (and because Al's barber is from Finland). Ian Elchitz is in because Al feels sorry for him. Several forum members who have gone over to the dark side (impatient buggers) are on probation (until they disavow the devil that has infiltrated their souls). No smily faces. I'm dead serious.Daryl ShuttleworthDS 3339http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

Isn't it funny though, that there's always someone who feels the need to defend the "innocent ones", who just happen to ask regular questions ?This isn't the first time someone has complained about my sayings here. Remember however, that I do contribute. That's what counts. Also, there are people in the internet fora who you can shoot anything at, I'm not one of them tho. Terops. let's just face it, we're just people behind our keyboards. Nothing we can do about "arguments" like this, but to agree to disagree.

PPL(A)

Hilarious DS!:-badteethTero

PPL(A)

Tero, agreed.... Arguments serve nothing. However discussion about a topic do. Even if it's been asked before... One never knows, even if he claims so..Anyhow.. lets move on... No hard feelings bud...RJ
