That's only GE engine flight modeling, and panel specifics - no one said that there wouldn't be other engine types for the visual model. PIC had various visual models. Why don't you just wait and see what comes out before you totally blow it off? :)

Cee-Jay (& others thinking the same way)One of the most common comments to panel developers are the requests to model this engine version and that engine version.To do that is much more complicated than you think.Each engine variant behaves very differently. It doesn't stop in just defining a new thrust setting and performance figures. It affects flight modelling as a whole, which in turn affects a LOT of things in the panel. Btw, did you know that to this date no one has correctly modelled EPR in flight simulator, because of FS's own, pretty tough limitations in modelling in this area ? Just something to think about while requesting RR and PW engines.While all of you certainly want everything in it, and you want it now, you should sometimes think what lies behind the decisions of only modelling certain engines, for example. Do you want it done _accurately_ for one model, or do you want five flight models done with the "left hand", also eating development time from other parts of the package ?All I'm saying is that if someone isn't going to get LDS because of "just GE" modelling, then I'd say that perhaps they wouldn't appreciate the detail in the panel anyway.Tero
