Dash 7 Paradise Island

Recommended Posts

I just got back this morning from a week-long visit to Memphis and the beginnings of "closing out" my father's house... what a hard week! I needed a bit of relaxation after such a taxing time, so I started noodling around with the DHC-7 textures again. This one is a Paradise Island livery I had started 10 days ago. It's in pretty good shape, but I'd like to fix up the curve to the fuse stripes this weekend before posting. Here's a preview:http://www.spottedantelope.com/bwomack/ima...dise_island.jpgThe font isn't perfect on the logo, but it's a reasonable representation of the original. The nacelles aren't done yet, either. I'll probably upload it sometime Saturday or Sunday, depending on the time I have to finish. Thanks for all the words of encouragement in the thread about my dad (http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=read_count&om=10618&forum=DCForumID8) by the way. It helped me get through one of the toughest weeks of my life, and I'm sure it'll be a comfort well into the future.

LOL yeah, Jason, I'm definitely having a ball and a half with PIA!!! I did a PID - MIA to start with last night (slightly shorter trip for the slowpoke) because it was really late when I got home from work to find it in the library :). I will be doing some more flights today though...count on that! To where in Canada are you moving? And when? I was thinking of coming home to visit this winter, though I'm undecided on that right now...My nephew just got FS2002 and has no clue as to how to use flightzip, so I feel it's my 'duty' to teach him so that he doesnt miss out on all this cool stuff! Did you get my private message, btw? Hope all is well!George

I am still trying to wake up!! I flew the birdy till almost 4:00am this morning. Did a round trip PI to PBI, what a sweet plane. Although on my approach to PBI I got run over by an overzealous JET BLUE Airbus, silly AI!! Not fun!!I will go look at my PM's now, man I need to get to bed earlier.Canada! I love that place, it's possible I may be in either Toronto or GTA, or Ottawa. Both beautiful places. My wife wants to go home, ya see!! http://www.forefrontgrp.com/jayssig.jpg"There is an art . . . to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss!"
