Hi Robert,Beta testers have been posting previews of commercial stuff here all along (PMDG, MSFS, PSS, etc). Thought it was actual ads from the developers themselves that weren't allowed. ?

BobK

"Please note that screenshot posts from commercial vendors with images of their payware product are NOT allowed. We consider any developers, beta team members, etc. part of the development team."This is from the "sticky" right at the top of the forum. It pretty much says it all.Tim13

What he's saying is that there have been numerous posts from commercial vendors in the SS forum (ie - PMDG, PSS etc) Not throwing insult to injury..just my two cents. - morgan

Yes, but when you consider the close ties PSS, PMDG, etc. have with AVSIM, it's no surprise the rules are bent on their behalf.

Regards,

Brian Doney

So, basically you are accusing myself and the other modeartors here of breaking our own rules because we get some kind of benefit from these companies. If you have proof of this "bending of the rules", please send it to me.If you have no proof, then please stop throwing out baseless accusations. If any screen shots get through on the screen shot or other forum that is not specifically assigned to PMDG ,PSS, etc., then it is merely because we missed them. Further, we don't allow shots from team memebers of the organizations in question. Ordinary users who buy the products are allowed to post shots. Please re-read the rule if you are confused by this facet. This particular thread was alerted to us by a user (thank you btw).I am locking this thread. If anyone wishes to discuss this topic further, please feel free to email or PM me.Regards,
