Hi Jim, I understand that issue.....but as an example I flew a multiplayer flight from KSFO to KSLC FL330...TAT was -7.....next leg was KSLC-KTUL at FL330..TAT was -4.....needless to say it is a long slow climb to cruise when temps are off that much....reported temps were OAT -46.5.... This is happening with all aircraft not just the PMDG 737...I'm wondering if there may have been a 'format' change somewhere by the weather service.....this only started in April sometime I think.....it hasn't always been there.Paul M."Big Sky---Little Bullet"---For All Other Impediments There's TCAShttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

Thanks Jim that did the trick. The only nagging problem I'm still having with AS2004 even with this new build is the quick changes in weather. While flying over the great lakes AS was producing some great thunder and rain storms, the turbulance was awesome. It was great because AS was creating simular weather that I was tracking from and online weather site. Then all of a sudden everything went clear. AS change reporting station that was 15 mi away. there was no gradule change in weather. I'll try to increase my online interval time to solve this. Other than the flt plan changer doesn't seem to rewrite plans correctly, AS is working fine.Bill M

Bill,Glad you got Fltmax to give you returns. You should have smooth weather transitions, but try and make this line False:EnforceVisibilityLimits = TrueHope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

I'm flying LIRA-LIMJ, no route wind smoothing and no route entered.Ini provided below.I used the weather advisor to extract an average cruise wind. After the data was elaborated, i am presented with the screen you can see in the shot.Together with the correct arr/dep airports, i have icaos that do not have anything to do with my route!I do not know how they ended up there. Then about the temperature:Flying at FL330, AS says that at FL340 temp should be -54.2

Another temperature example:30nm from LIMJ, limj metar activeFL90 6.4

>>Actual temps at FL09I meant FL90

Hi,First the easy one: the LFKB and LFMN entries are not waypoints but TAFs, and they belong there!Do a little experiment for me: stand at one of those airports and note some temperature at some aloft altitude. Then enter slew mode and hit the F4 key. Your plane should go straight up. Slew to that altitude noted above and hit the 5 key on the number pad. You should now be stopped, but still in slew mode. Read the temps in the plane and report them here.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

>First the easy one: the LFKB and LFMN entries are not>waypoints but TAFs, and they belong there!May i ask why should AS base the taf processing on stations out of the country?I can understand (maybe) LFMN as Genova (Geneve, LIMJ) is near the border to France, but LFKB sure it hundreds of miles away from Roma Ciampino (LIRA).Edit: precisely 147nm :(>Do a little experiment for meGonna do it right now.

>Do a little experiment for meThis way temperatures are correct. What does this mean?

You proved that AS and FS are reporting the correct temperatures. As you fly temps are going to be higher. Fly just above stall speed and the temps will almost match. AS gets the data into FS. How it is used is up to FS and the plane.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
