March 10, 200620 yr It is possible, you simply have to put some time and effort into it. I built a whole housing for my Fresnel lens from a very heavy-duty cardboard. But my lens is not a flimsy piece of plastic - it is almost 3 mm thick - very sturdy.Michael J.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/pmdg_744F.jpghttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg Michael J.
March 11, 200620 yr Would you consider using a projector (beamer)? In the U.S. theprices are falling, and you can create a nice, bright 50 inch display. Here's a picture of my setup (using 3D stereo glassesand TrackIR head tracker.)
March 11, 200620 yr Hi.What I used was a Picture frame, that fits the Lens size, to reinforce it. I then built a foam base to support it at the proper height. March 11, 200620 yr >Cool. One problem that makes it more difficult too is that>the lens is to thin on the sides Sorry, but thin Fresnel lens doesn't speak well about its optical quality. If I were you I would not invest additional time and money into something that most likely will not give you the final effect that will be worth the effort.Michael J.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/pmdg_744F.jpghttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg Michael J.

July 29, 200619 yr What a farce.. that item on ebay. Min Eur119? I got the same one for like 60 Euros or something.Moreover.. Its a weak Fresnel, it works more like an enlarger.,, not like the one Par has. His is smaller by more powerful that gives you the 3D effect. Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
