Anyone using a Nvidia Geforce 6800?

Featured Replies

I've been running mine with 77.77 drivers for several years, and no problems with fs9 or FSX. But today I had my first CDT, plus a Microsoft error message blaming Nvidia drivers and recommending an update. I've tried several times in the past to install later drivers, but without success, so have reverted to 77.77. However, it seems I should try again. Question: which to choose this time? If your 6800 runs well with stable drivers, I'd appreciate a word of advice.Athlon 4000+Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT2 mb RAM77.77 drivers

Right now I'm using the latest drivers 94.24 so far there doing fine on my system, but it could be different on your system, but I would give them a shot let us know how it went. This link is for the windows xp version.http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_94.24.htmlForceWare Release 90Version: 94.24Release Date: May 31, 2007WHQL CertifiedU.S. EnglishFile Size: 32.5 MB

I say that because, if 77.77 worked for months and months flawlessly, but then suddenly you get CTD's, then I would not suspect the driver.I would suspect something else first.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian
