I am currently struggling with 'blurries', or perhaps I should clarify - texture loading not keeping up with aircraft. My current set-up is as below, and I was wondering whether it would be worth spending

I'm running FSX just fine with a 7600GT with excellent graphics (medium high or so settings on everything).Of course that's a PCIe 7600GT, not an AGP one, which may well give me higher performance than you'd get from the same chipset.Your problem likely isn't so much the videocard as your harddisk(controller) not keeping up.

I think your money would be better spent on upgrading the entire system, to be honest.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

Hi StuartI think you would be very disappointed with the upgrade I have just done that going from a FX 7950 to a Geforce 8800 Ultra and upgrading the pc not very impressed to e honest.I would recommend you use the 56.72 Nvidia Drivers they are really super for the 7 series Best Regards,Chris

The blurries are a product of slow CPU's....unfortunately - yours :(I use a geforce 6800XT 256mb too.....

Thanks guys for the input.Guess I'll just have to persevere for the time being until I can justify upgrading my PC. Maybe I shall wait until FS11 in c.2009, who knows what that will bring !!!!!Cheers,Stuart

I have an Intel E6750, which is not exactly "slow", yet I still have the blurries. I did not have them on my slower computer prior to SP1!Something else is going on here.
