Error opeing my 727 aircrafts

Featured Replies

Hi, I keep getting this error when loading my 727 aircrafts. I installed all the gauges from my external HD and put them back in where the should be. All my other panels work fine, for the exception of my 727s.Another issue Im having is my computer would lock up and I have to reboot once in a while when I access my aircrafts from the library. The default cessna would be rotating and the minute I choose Boeing for example, it would lock up. This is once in a while. What can I do to fix this?Thanks,Billhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/183757.jpg

The easy solution would be a reinstall. Judging by the gauge filename, I suppose it's Richard Probst's 727 panel, so there should not be any problem downloading (you can do it here at Avsim) and reinstalling.Hope this helpsBest regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel

Bill, Maybe the problem lies with the old FSSound module... Try this:1. Open your fs9.cfg2. Add these two entries (if they are not there yet):(OldModules)FSSound.dll=1The brackets around "Oldmodules" are square. regards,Jure

I would agree -If not the FSSound.dll it may be the GaugeSound.dll.That one should be in your Main FS9 folder and likely needs to have the same type of notation in the FS9.cfg file -(Old Modules) - use square bracketsGaugeSound.dll=1The square brackets do not display here in the forum.

Thanks guys I will try that out..I already had the FSSound.dll=1under the Old Modules in my config, but I will add GaugeSound.dll=1to the list too. Hope that will do the trick.ThanksBill

I notice one the aircraft loads in FS, there are no gauges or switches on the 727 panel. None at all, just a BMP image of the panel with black holes where guages are supposted to be. Thats all related to the sound.dll?Bill

Bill,, you have added all the gauges to the fsfsconv folder, that you created in the aircraft folder? What version of FSSound.dll you using? I know FSSsound.dll Version 1.6.0.15 causes sounds issues for me, using the Tinmouse 737-200. I have Version 1.5.0.1 installed, which works ok with both the 727 panel, and the the 737 panel. Also, you only need:(Old Modules) - use square bracketsFSSound.dll=1Lee
