November 9, 200817 yr Hello, Could anyone please help. The preview window in fs9 is always blank this has only recently happened, even when I select an aircraft nothing shows in the window. Your help would be most grateful.
November 9, 200817 yr Have you changed the AA setting on your graphics card? Try setting it to 4x or 2x and see what happens. Graeme Butler

Your help>would be most grateful.I have seen this recommended but have not tried it myself:"Turn off the anti-aliasing feature in your video card dialogue (which is outside of FS) and if you wish to use AA, have it controlled by FS in your display settings within FS".Might be worth a shot.Good luck.
November 10, 200817 yr My experience is that some drivers will give you a black preview with 8X aa and some will not. Some will give you a black oreview at amy setting. Once you are in the sim, everything may be ok.From everything I have read and my experievce, it is much better to us AA outside the sim in FS9 for image quality and framerates. In FSX, I recall it is better to have it inside the sim. I have not used FSX in over a year so I am not sure if this is still true. Nonetheless, it is definitly a driver/AA issue.
