February 2, 200818 yr 3-4 degrees nose up in cruise sounds very normal for a typical pax plane. You need to have a bit of angle of attack to create that lift.In fact, minimum drag speed which would equate to CI of zero would be close to 4 degrees so I guess the FT guys got that part right :-lol
