A/C weight Lbs/KGs

Featured Replies

Hi AllLoving the 744 for FSX. Just 1 minor hitch (possibly user error!!) I am trying to change lbs to kgs in the options. I have used the options menu and changed the selection but it doesn't reflect in the sim it still displays in lbs. I have also made the change in the load manager but the same result. Am I missing something obvious??CheersBen

Have a look at the intro on page 00.20 you will find lb/kg selection there among other units.

One thought though - select either Kg or Lbs from the PMDG options menu then close it. Reopen the menu and load fuel - it'll then be in the units selected previously. This only because the menu doesn't change units until closed.ONLY use the PMDG fuel loading though, NEVER the Microshaft one else it'll go all to pieces.John Ellison

Hi.I had the same problem. If you are using Vista, the only way i could change it was to run FSX as the administrator (right click over the FSX shortcut on your desktop then select Run as administator)Once you have made your changes you can run FSX as normal next time you fly and the changes should have kept.Hope that helps.Tony
