Looking for realistic STOL mid-twin.

Hi, I have plenty of add-on planes, but am missing one to fit the STOL midsize twin catagory. Something like the Twin Otter. I do a lot of island hopping in the carib area, esp TNCM, St. Barts, SABA, etc...What is the most realistic and simulated add-on that would fit?I'm looking for high quality VC, flight characteristics, modeled systems, etc.Oh and payware.

That wasn't help full at all.. :( I didn't mention I had a problem...I'm just looking for suggestions. Yes I know about google, But I'm asking about first hand experience here compared to what I'm looking for. Please do not reply unless you're willing to usefully contribute.

No excuse for this type of post in the forum Chuck, people ask these types of questions all the time and someone like you turning the environment into a snide and nasty place from the anonymity, safety and comfort of your keyboard doesn't help. Hi Red,You might want to look at Premier's Short's 330/360 series, Chuck's hint was OK even if is method wasn't. Regards,John

Thanks for the advice John. Checked out the site, some decent looking planes. I'll def try the otter they have. Anything payware along those lines as the VC in freeware, although very decent, doesn't give you that same 3D feeling in most paywares.

Hi Red,As Chuck said you might try Premier Aircraft at:http://www.premaircraft.com/index.htmlThey've got a lot of Twin Otters as well as many other aircraft for both FS9 and FSX. I don't use FSX but I can say that the aircraft for FS9 are mostly very good. Most have panels and sounds and some have VC's.Hope this helps!

I must say - As I know its freeware and please don't blame me (to much) :( - that I find Premier Aircraft pretty, but find some of their planes Flight Characteristics less than perfect - at least on my computer. I have been trying a lot to 'tame' the Twin Otter without my full satisfaction.What I mean is. Engines are reacting very slowly, I get pitch oscillations, unstable on landings etc.If anyone else has been manipulating with its FDE with good resultsI would apprieciate very much to hear about it.regardsHenrik
