November 26, 201015 yr As you all may know... Captain Sim is developing a new Boeing 737-100 and 737-200 models, However they plan only to release basic Sperry 77 autopilot module, They are receiving suggestions to take in mind in the future development of the -200 model so all of us who are B732 lovers... let's put pressure on Captain Sim to make them work on the Sperry 177 equiped 737 we all like!! Sign up for their community forum and comment in the Thread: "Features you want to see" that you want this option available!Best Regards!!PS: Sorry, only flightsim.com,Good news... I hope can get the files tonight. Tomorrow i go to work n need something new to kill the time at oficce!!!
November 26, 201015 yr well captain sim... did they ever did something very good? :D cant remember. Either they only have a model and/or a model including basic interior or they have a good model including very buggy interior. i am happy with the tinmouse and your upcoming panel then :) Tebin Ulrich

CaptainSim is producing the Sperry 77 FCU to start, but has plans to release the later model original 737 avionics as an addon (something I fully support). CaptainSim does not need more pressure as the B737-100/200 will be released as requested, chronologically. That means we'll be seeing the CS 737-100, then the -200 and /200Adv, and then finally the -200Adv with the early 1980's modernized FCU (Sperry 177) and other avionics upgrades. A little reading in the CS forums goes a long way. well captain sim... did they ever did something very good? :D cant remember. The 707 is a classic example of a top-quality aircraft produced true to the real aircraft. I don't know what you mean by "buggy" interior.
November 26, 201015 yr i mean, that even the CS707 has bugs and "produced true to the real aircraft" doesnt mean, it has the same behavior. i fly a32s in real and had at least 2 aircrafts in fs where they said the same, still, it was everything else than realistic Tebin Ulrich

The revised CS707 is simply unmatched in quality and realism.
November 27, 201015 yr Initial impressions:Likes:--Sperry 177 implemented cleanly--Trimble GPS installed (common on ex-LAN B732s)--Clean standby altimeter gaugeDislikes:--ILS_TCAS.GAU not found, errors on startup when aircraft selected--Gauges smashed together are very difficult to read--Layout gives impression of a toss-together despite the hard work you've put in--Sperry 177 VERT speed switch reversed (UP = down, DOWN = up)--Activation of vert speed button in flight when not at selected altitude induces immediate 2500fpm climb/descent--Mode S transponder gauge deactivated in favor of.. digital freq gauge adjacent to throttles?--Upper right hidden "close window" clickspots on radio stack and throttles closes the MAIN panel instead of the intended panel
November 27, 201015 yr Glad to know it is up!Please enjoy it as it IS!!!As I said, no further development or updates are planned, You may encounter some bugs, I'm not a professional panel creator and I'm offering this for FREE, Regarding some of the topics above:- To close some windows please use the main panel proper icons, in some dedicated windows the sim icons will give false window openings, sadly it was something I didn't know how to correct.- The GAU sound fail problem is corrected updating the FS9.CFG file adding the following lines:[OldModules]FSSound.dll=1- Gauges had to be arranged small and close, It is impossible to give an entire wide view of the panel incuding the long MCP (and this was the main idea of this panel)- Transponder gauge available using the W sim icon (read manual enclosed in the main root fs9 folder PDF format).- Vert Speed default speed is 2500, You can modify this if you want in the aircraft.cfg fileI think that would be all!!Don't be that hard... I did my best, as I said I'm not a pro panel designer.. everything done was done by learning by myselfBest regards!
November 27, 201015 yr imo, you made a good job ;) things are working as far as i need them and the panel looks like it would be default in this aircraft, nothing that has been added laterps:"-ILS_TCAS.GAU" -> well i dont have that problem but i also cannot find that file in my gauges folder. however there is a ILH_TCAS.gau ... you sure that its ILS at your fs? otherwise i can give you my ILH_TCAS Tebin Ulrich
November 27, 201015 yr Anyone knows if this installs in the main directory or do I point it to the aircraft directory? I ran the auto installer but nothing has changed in the Tinmouse plane. Thanks
November 27, 201015 yr you have to select your FS9 directory. after that, it will also create a new entry in your aircraft list (as far as i remember it was Boeing -> 737-200 Tinmouse II or something Tebin Ulrich

And please don't take my comments as "harsh" per se, I simply provided a review based upon my person experiences. It's clear you've spent a considerable amount of time and effort working on this panel and it shows. However, in the process of making everything fit, I think you've crossed over to the point where the gauges are more difficult to read. I have a large monitor, but it is not widescreen.. perhaps this plays a role.
November 27, 201015 yr Predator-I'm using the panel.cfg for the FMC but am unable to get it to show up in the SIM when clicking on the icon or using the keyboard. Thanks. Greg Guerinot
