My NEW 737-200 PANEL

Featured Replies

Predator-I'm using the panel.cfg for the FMC but am unable to get it to show up in the SIM when clicking on the icon or using the keyboard. Thanks.
Read the manual located in the root FS9 folder

you have to select your FS9 directory. after that, it will also create a new entry in your aircraft list (as far as i remember it was Boeing -> 737-200 Tinmouse II or something
Yes I found it. Thank you. I thought it would install into my current Tinmouse directory. Now does anyone know how can I merge my installs or use the panel with my current Tinmouse planes? I tried copying the new panel, but I get an error message and crash.ThanksP.S. Most beautiful panel I've ever downloaded! Thanks!

Just copy the PANEL folder inside the desired plane... I've tried my panel in the basic SGA 737 and payware Aerosim 737 and work with both as smooth as with the tinmouse.

Copied it into the Aerosim model. Now the radios wont tune. Dont have the SGA version. Thanks

I'm having a problem with your new 737-200 panel. It was a 134mb download that took about 45 minutes to actually download (not complaining about this, just making note of it). When I viewed the contents via PKWARE, the exe file was listed as being only 37mb. I don't think the rest of the files in the zipped file added up to 1mb combined, so where is the remaining 96mb? Also, when I unpacked the installer I got an error message saying no file was found, though 19mb of it actually did unzip. When I attempted to run the installer it didn't work properly. In fact, NAV stopped and removed it because it was "acting suspiciously", no doubt due to it not getting unzipped properly.Executable files that don't come with some kind of a readme file that gives at least a brief explanation of what it's going to do *before* I actually run the installer give me the willies since I'm left without any idea whatsoever what is going to be done to my system. For all I know, in such a situation, the installer will begin the installation process the moment I hit the enter key without first giving a description of what is about to happen and giving me the option to cancel the install if I don't like what the installer is going to do. I much prefer installing new panels, planes, scenery, etc. manually (although this can be a pain at times). At any rate, how do I get the installer to work properly? You've obviously put a lot of work into the panel and it looks fabulous so it'd be a real shame not to be able to get it downloaded, installed, and working properly! Do I need to download the file again again?

By accident, I've discovered where all of those megabytes went.. the left, right, forward right, forward left, etc. views. They are 30mb each. 30mb!

Good grief! I gotta wonder what sort of impact that has on the frame rate when using one of those views (and how long they take to load)!

It wasn't much for me after you've loaded each view once (looked in all 7 directions), but still.. I don't know what the extended impact is with 210mb of images loaded in to RAM on longer flights or on PC's with less RAM available.

Indeed they are big files to achieve maximum quality, about FPS no issues at all since you'll never fly the entire flight on the sideview, AND FPS are always affected by GAUGES and not by background BMP's :( . They only load 0,2 seconds slower than low res sideviews... I just don't see why this is an issue at all really..

Well, that may be true from an initial performance standpoint but the point I was making was how FS loads sideviews. Once you visit that particular view in a flight, the BMP is loaded in to your PC's memory and remains there. So if you visit all 7 views at 30mb each, that loads 210mb worth of BMPs in to RAM. That *CAN* have a performance impact if your available RAM is not very high (which would be more likely to affect system performance on longer flights, or continuing flights).
by the way ;)http://flightsim.com/hotfiles.php - your panel is number 1 download !
Indeed, 284 downloads! Congrats!

Great job with the panel. Just love it! Especially the approach view. I'm just going to add ISG's FMC and i'll be all set. Thanks for all your hard work. I really appreciate it.

I have tried to use the panel in other planes, i.e. Aerosim. The radio wont tune if I use the panel in another plane. Anyone having this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks

Copy and Paste the RADIOS section from your Tinmouse 2 AICRAFT.CFG file to the Aerosim AIRCRAFT.CFG. that should work

Great panel. When I increase the throttles on takeoff I get a nasty warning sound. What is that and what do I have set wrong if anything? Also is it possible to remove the yoke from the panel? I'm not trying to be negative about your panel but personally I find it distracting where it is.Andy S
