May 2, 200917 yr Hi, I have noticed that the GPWS Mode 6, Bank Angle Warning is missing on the MD-11. Could that be added with one of the next service updates? Jan-Paul
May 2, 200917 yr Commercial Member Jan-Paul,Douglas did not fit the MD-11 with an aural bank angle warning, that's why there's none in the PMDG version. If I'm not mistaken that warning is however something FedEx is planning on adding with an upgrade package - or maybe it's already implemented I don't know. But the original MD-11 never had it.Markus Markus Burkhard
May 2, 200917 yr Jan- Paul,I'm suprised by your lack of confidence in PMDG's abilty to deliver a product that meets all the specifications of the real one. They would never forget something like this. :( Karsten
May 2, 200917 yr Author Hi Markus, thanks for the answer, according to the manual MD-11 Systems Page 507 / 529, the bank angle callout is there, but it is optional. So this is ok for me if Douglas didn't implement it originaly. Jan-Paul

I believe you are familiar with swiss-airlines, did they have the aural bank warning? If you refering to the original MD-11, what do u mean by that?BTW, which software update does LSAS have in the PMDG software? The first release?RGDS! CU, Tom Morello- FSX SP 2, WIN 7, 64Bit.
May 2, 200917 yr The PMDG model is based on an European carrier and their simulator.. because there were many variants I assume this feature was one not modelled because it wasn't available in the equipment used for the modelling. Dan Downs KCRP
May 3, 200917 yr Commercial Member Tom,so yeah maybe this callout is a customer option indeed... there are so many of those already. The configurations we've flown on the sim during development did not have it and no one on the team asked for it. So IF this is an option then it's a rare one.LSAS is the latest version, as far as practicable within the limitations of MSFS.Regards,Markus Markus Burkhard
