June 1, 200917 yr I have reinstalled RC4 from the CD under Windows 7 RC. The installation went without errormessages. But when I try to run RC4 I get this message'Component MSCCOMCT2,OCX or one of its dependices not correctly registered : a file is missing or invalid'and RC won't run at all. What to do about it?
June 2, 200917 yr Try here: LinkI had a similar problem installing Radar Contact into Windows 7...a key file (the name of which I totally forget!) wasn't registered, just like the message you're seeing. I googled for an answer and found a similar link, had to download a replacement file, register it with regsvr32 command, and all was good. I hope this helps...but proceed cautiously. Just had to do that yesterday and RC seems to be working fine. EddieKABQ

The link previously given does not help me. I can't download MSCOMCT2.OCX file there. If following instructions I end up with HTML type file downloaded.

Good luck. Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual
