June 9, 200916 yr Hello all, im not sure if i should be posting this here but i need your help on a couple of things about cs 757. The first question is why doesnt the fmc allow me to punch in the code for palma, lepa, the second is when steering the aircraft it seems to drift and i seem to be oversteering to get it back in contol(while on the ground). Has anyone else had these problems and have you overcome them? Many thanks for any suggestionsChris Chris Howard
June 9, 200916 yr As much as I love the CS 757 I to have had problems like you've had. Add in the terrible frame rates I get (their c130 runs fine) and I've given up. This 757 looks promising. www.qualitysim.com
June 9, 200916 yr I've been able to program LEPA in just fine but i've upgraded to the 0906 AIRAC so that may be the reason. The nosewheel steering is completely screwed up for me as well and it takes some well planned out rudder movments to get it round any corners!I want to love the CS 757 but considering that I, like many many others, suffer a CDT everytime any routing info is entered/ammended in the FMC during flight, I find it 100% unusable.Try badgering CS over at their forums or via a support ticket. More than likely they will just fob you off though as they've done to me when i've asked for help.Good luck! i7 2600k @ 5.1Ghz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz, EVGA GTX 580 @ 950MHz, OCZ Vertex II 240GB, ASUS Xonar DG, Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W PSU, Antec KÜHLER 620 W/C, Corsair 600T SE White My FS9 Screens - http://fs9screens.blogspot.com/ Callum Richardson
June 10, 200916 yr Yeah I've updated the FCU's navigation data from Navigraph and I have little problems with that. I have not had the nose wheel steering problem with my CS 757, but I had it bad last night with my PMDG 737...i had to steer with almost full right rudder. Strangely it disappeared after I turned off the strobe lights. I don't know if that was related. Derek RogersPC Specs: Intel i7-4790K 4.6GHz : 16GB RAM : GTX 970 4GB
June 10, 200916 yr Author Well thanks for all your input guys, the captain sim team are on holidays untill the 11th as ive already been on there site wanting some help. All i can say is that we must seriously love our hobbie to put up with all these little setbacks but anyway thanks again guys, chris Chris Howard
June 10, 200916 yr Well, you see, the CS757 isn't as bad as you guys make it look. Honstly, the CS757 is the one of the best planes around - But only if you have v4.3. I'll be honest though: I don't have that version myself, I have the FS9 version. I'm not flying it that often because of, well, the problems you describe, but if you were to get FSX and this newer 757 version, your problems would be solved. I can understand they don't update their FS9 line aircrafts anymore. I mean, They are just one of many developers out there that broke with FS9. However, not supporting an already existing problem of yours is of course bad. I think thy should help people with problems. Although, I'm not sure how they should do that. The only way they can, is by updating, and they already said they won't do that. So, we're stuck. I'll stick to my Level-D 767 for now. But it's very difficult to steer and it seems to be tail heavy. Also when I import FS plan, the waypoints don't show. I have to manully input flt plan.Bill M Bill McIntyre Asus StrixB650E-F Gamer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Corsair Titanium DDR5 64GB, Samsung 990 PRO-4TB M.2, (4) 2TB SSD's, Corsair H1150i liquid cooler, RTX 2080TI Founders Edition, (2) LG 34" HD Curved Monitor, Sound Blaster Audigy X, 1Kw PC Power & Cooling Power Supply, Corsair Obsidian Full tower Case.
