Hey forum, So after completing several beautiful flights in payware airplanes into payware airports...The buildings always disappear on the arrival end of things (the Terminals and stuff are still standing. This happens with FlyTampa, Flight Beam, etc. Is this a memory issue? I try and reset the sliders but that doesn't help. Please see attached picture. I'm hoping there is an easy fix as I finally have the sim the way I like it. Thanks again for helping me with this.

Hi everyone, I am under the assumption that the NGX will automatically save whatever changes you make to the aircraft for a particular livery. I spent 20 minutes configuring a Qantas airplane only to have had nothing save when I went back later to fly it. I read about this in the introduction .pdf and still have no clue how to save a specific aircraft configuration? If anyone can help me I'd be very appreciative. Thank you

Hey guys, I've flown the airplane on 4 or 5 route successfully. I've tried to fly LEMD-EHEH. I set up a SID and a STAR. When I try and join them and activate the flight plan...I lose the data in the FMC/CDU and it becomes basically inoperable thereafter. I've tried about 3 times now to complete this route. Time before last I got to about 2,000 feet out of LEMD, had a valid TCAS alert, and then noticed that the data was gone in the FMC again. This lead me to re-install Windows 7 and FSX. The NGX, NL2000 scenery, and Aerosoft's LEMD are all that I am running at the moment. I'm thinking maybe something is corrupted with the EHEH nav-data? I've attached a picture so you can see how the data just disappears in the CDU. This is similar for all pages, PERF, RTE, LEGS, etc. Any ideas?

I just purchased both German Airports 2 and 3 packages from Aerosoft. So far they are great! Good thing about them is that they're almost all serviced by the 737NG so when the PMDG 737NG comes out...well thats a lot of quality scenery to fly it in and out of.

I have around $600 right now but I can build that up as I am in no hurry. I use FS as an airline simulator so I want to use FSdreamteam, Aerosoft, Flytampa, UK2000, and ORBX products and get fluid performance. What do you think would be a reasonable investment? I suppose I start by buying a big enough tower to install the components into?

Hey everyone. I downloaded the FSX demo. I then added Flytampas St. Maarten. Flying around with the default aircraft with sliders all the way to the left I was getting around 5-10fps. With all of the sliders to the right I was getting around the same fps. The DA Fokker is excellent in every respect! The visual model is one of the best in FS history in my opinion. The systems simulation is top notch. Its worth every hard earned cent.

One of the best add ons I've purchased in quite some time. Not only do you get an excellent model and fantastic VC but you get every varient of the 757 and tons of liveries. Since the day the CS 757 came out I wanted a 757 that wouldnt take a massive hit in frame rates like the CS 757 did. I figured there would never be as excellent a visual model as the CS. QW nailed it though. Now they have the best 757 out there that they can even continue to build on.

As much as I love the CS 757 I to have had problems like you've had. Add in the terrible frame rates I get (their c130 runs fine) and I've given up. This 757 looks promising. www.qualitysim.com

You have FSdreamteam who have and are producing LSZH, LSGG, KORD, KJFK, KDFW, KFLL, and KLAS for FS9, not to mention the major airports by Aerosoft and Flytampa. Plus you have one of the most talented model designers ever for FS over at Project opensky continuing to make the 747, 777, 767, 737, and 757 and regional jets better. Add all of these wonderful things together with 100% AI with almost every AI package available with full sliders and FS9 is here to stay. Now if only that one groups (orbx?) version of YMML was for FS9 and we had FSX water texture in FS9....

Def buy it. I just purchased it the other day. It is different than the 747, but if you'r comfortable with the 747, you'll be up and running with the MD-11 in no time. The FMS works almost the same way but getting it configured for takeoff is a little different. Oh yeah,...and I find the MD-11 to be smoother on my computer than the queen for some reason.

Hey guys. I'm almost ready to go for my first flight on the MD-11,...but how do i figure out what the right dial-a-flap setting should be for a 460,000lb takeoff? I've looked over the tutorial and the FMS documents but I seem to be missing how to determine the proper setting. Thanks.

They ran into a few technical problems in the later stage of developement while trying to make the best product for FS9 that they can. Just hang in there and PMDG will deliver.

1.) I arm my spoilers so that the green "speed brake armed" light comes on, but on touchdown, the spoilers do not deploy until the reverse thrust is deployed.2.) Below about 170kts, in the landing configuration, any change to the trim is dramatic.3.) In the exterior views, or with the internal side views or overhead panel there is a constant screaming sound.Are these problems a sign that the aircraft is not installed properly or are these just bugs? I think your talking about the DC-10 over at www.xsimulate.net? That project seems to have come to a halt. I've given up any hope of ever seeing the A320 from AirlinerXP. Atleast we have the PMDG MD-11 and some great sceneries for FS9 on the way.

When in the configuration manager im trying to decrease the amount of preloaded fuel. The passanger load and cargo load stay at the setting I put them but whenever I load up the 767 and have a look at the FMC there is 161,000lbs of fuel loaded. I go back into the confi manager and my payloads are just as I have saved them except the fuel is back at 125,000lbs. In the 767 load sheet however, my fuel change has occured. Ive found nothing in the manuals about this. Can someone please help?

I deleted the module but there are only 3 modules that the program needs to work. Im going to have to say it was probabley named dbs.cockpitwalk.dll because the other modules are DBS.WalkAndFallow.dll and dbs.util.dll. Just remeber its the Cockpitwalk one.

So i re-installed FS just like I had in the past, through all my main components back in like Acitvesky, recorder module, Active Camera, and DBS Walk and fallow in that order and after I installed each one I i would load FS to see how it was doing. After installing DBS Walk and fallow the symptoms would immediately return and only go away when i removed that program. I searched here on the forums and found out that some people have had problems with with a certain walk and fallow module causing the problem I spoke of. Needless to say I deleted one of the modules that I never use out of that program and the problem appears to be solved. Again I thank you for all of your help. Its been greatly appreciated.
