Aerosoft proves most of us right, again

Featured Replies

By continuing to release excellent, up-to-date and with the highest tech available sceneries for both FSX and FS9 - their latest offering a brighter, busier and well-detailed LEPA to replace the tired and dull 2005 version - Aerosoft proves yet again that both platforms are equally valid and that users of either platform - or both - are equally important.Thank you - again - Aerosoft

Yes, I am also very happy that Aerosoft developes both for FS9 and FSX.

Yes, I'm also very happy about that. And yes, the new Mallorca is excellent. Highly recommended! But, on this occasion, let us all remember it lasts only as long as we continue buying products for FS9 and thus supporting commercial companies. So, please ALL FS9 users, DO buy them. Don't steal via torrents / p2p.Mathijs from Aerosoft says FSX sales overcome the FS9 ones a lot.Let us prove he is wrong. I'm doing my best. :( Best regards

Both versions are very important, but FSX is a better version for pushing the visuals of the series on newer hardware. Visually FS9 is tapped. I have not seen it go anymore visually further than it is now. It is growing more horizontally now (I think this is the right term.). But FS9 is great on low to high hardware making it great for everyone. While FSX stays primarly on the high end and only on desktop machines.I run FSX on the desktop and FS9 on the laptop. It's my mobile flight sim. :) So it has long legs for me.

Agreed.I don't really want to migrate to FSX, because that would mean performance upgrades to my eyeballs, and plus I'm not fussed on getting all my 200+ add-ons again, just so I can play with nicer visuals.FS9 is for me, because the third party community is so huge. That's what I thrive on, the ability to make my sim better, day by day.

The nice thing with Aerosoft is: If they release something for both versions, both versions are included in the price of the product.

I'm curious about that comment from Aerosoft since I've seen other devs say that the versions are almost equally split. But funny thing is I didn't like the look of the terrain in FSX from day 1, and still don't.
