"thanks well right now it says that I have fsx sp 2 and there is no error about not finding neccersory files but it still displays stupid memory error so I guess I'll just have to delete my traffic x"I wish it was as simple as deleting My Traffic X but that's not the problem unless you cranked traffic to 80% and installed the high quality AI (an option). Maybe you didn't install it properly and install all the updates? It is kind of complicated to install if you're not all that familiar with computers but the developer provided excellent step-by-step installation instructions. I have My Traffic X and it does not cause OOM's but then I have my traffic settings turned way down (AI is set at 50-70% though depending on situations but everything else in the traffic section is turned off or at a very low percentage). What I found that kills low powered systems like mine is the water setting (set to low); and the Autogen setting (I turned mine off). Scenery settings are all set to the default (definitely not all the way to the right). Unfortunately, with FSX, you have to tweak your system AND FSX to get the best out of it. Jim

I have my traffic at 100% and I would like to keep it there I will probably lower other traffic (if I ever get there)

You're going to have to buy a new system if you want to keep it at 100%. Have you tried lowering AI to see if that fixes your OOM's? I guess that's what you mean by My Traffic X is causing your OOM's. Now I see what you're talking about! I just raised mine to 75% and it's not causing any problems so far but I had to turn down many other settings. Nick N's tuning guide as discussed in this thread is your best resource for fixing your problem(s). Good luck!Jim Young

TimDisk space, which is where your recently deleted software used to live, IS NOT MEMORYYou need to grasp this concept.Your computer for whatever reason is reporting that it has run out of RAM ie memoryThis is not the same as saying it has ran out of hard disk space, you can delete all of your programsconfirm to yourself that your hard disk is nearly empty and you will still get this message. Why is this ?You have some issues with your windows installation and/or FSX that probably only a full reinstallof windows and FSX will cureORyou have a physical hardware problem probably related to a faulty Ram module,Running memtesthttp://www.memtest.org/Will probably confirm this if in fact one of your modules has developed a fault.PM me and we will try and work through this,This is not related to your MYTraffic X installation

well I dont really have vista disk (it came with my computer) so it will not be fixed if its in the system but here is a thing that is kind of strange is that my outlook stopped working too and again no matter what I do it displays error message so I think its system

Hello TimHave you run Memtest yet ?, you will never know if it is your RAM if you do not try it.You will probably have to reinstall your operating system as well, just buy a copy of Vista or wait a few weeks for Windows 7 to be released.Better still find a copy of XP 64 bit.Happens to us all at some point.

Thanks I followed instructions but it still doesn't work but thanks though, Tim
Then your problem is not OOM if you are already on a 64bit OS

Yeah I think its something in the system I looked over my computers manual and I found system recovery so I'll try to do that I think it should help what do you guys think (maybe if it will not work I'll buy vista ultimate I thought about buying it when I got my computer but decided not to)Thanks, Tim

If you are already using Vista64 buying the ultimate edition will not make a diifeerence. Its the same os with a couple of extras

Hello TimBut why would you go for Vista Ultimate when there is nothing in it of use to you over Vista Premiumhttp://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-v...ns/default.aspxOther than a larger price tag.Windows 7 is only weeks away so that may be a better option, Vista will then sink without trace (hopefully)
