I am not familar with that partuclar package or the skins you mention, however adding variations (skins as you refer to them) is a basic procedure for all FS2004 aircraft.1. The additional texture folder(s) must be placed in the aircraft folder of the aircraft in question.2. Additional [fltsim.xx] data for each variation must be added to the aircraft.cfg file.The [fltsim.xx] number (the xx) must be consecutive with no duplications.example:[fltsim.0]with the appropriate data[fltsim.1]with the appropriate data[fltsim.2]with appropriate dataand so on.The title= line must be unique for each variation also.Additionally, the sim= line on each variation must refer to the name of the .air file of that aircraft.It will not have the .air extension - just the name. If the additional skins you are trying to add do not reference the correct .air file, they will not display.Likewise, if the skins you are trying to add are calling for a different model on the model= line, then they are for a different aircraft.Double check your work - likely you will find one or more of the above items in error.Hope that helps.PS - If need be, just post a copy of your aircraft.cfg file so we can see what you have done. And in case you are not aware, the cfg files can be opened and edited with Notepad.And are you running XP or Vista? If Vista, you may not have your permissions set to allow you make changes to the aircraft.cfg file etc.

You'll need to manually add the entry as discussed earlier. None of the installers from FFS automatically updated the file for you. In fact, if it was an installer it should have when finished opened up a window with what you needed to put in the .cfg to get the AC to work.Let me know if you need further assistance as this is one of my favorite AC.

Since Belga cannot reproduce the error - let's go back to a few basic checks -Is the texture folder you added named texture.unex (note the period between the word texture and unex) ??Can we assume you placed a copy of the folder named texture.unex and not just the contents of that folder, in the proper aircraft's folder ??And finally, have you looked inside the folder named texture.unex - are there a number of texture files in it?Your aircraft.cfg file appears to be correct so all I can think of is some basic error as above.I just love a good mystery!!

Since Belga cannot reproduce the error - let's go back to a few basic checks -Is the texture folder you added named texture.unex (note the period between the word texture and unex) ??Can we assume you placed a copy of the folder named texture.unex and not just the contents of that folder, in the proper aircraft's folder ??And finally, have you looked inside the folder named texture.unex - are there a number of texture files in it?Your aircraft.cfg file appears to be correct so all I can think of is some basic error as above.I just love a good mystery!!

lol yea everything in the folder is as it should be. I could try uninstalling the whole thing again (second time) install all the base packs, extract the skin to a temp folder and copy over and make the edit. But I doubt it would help. And I agree this is indeed a mystery

Just to clarify, in the create-a-flight screen under the manufacturer Saab you can see the 3 house variants and none of the united Express variants. Or can you see the United Express variants, but they have no textures, are just gray(or some other color).Joe

under create flight i select Manufacturer > Saab then Model > 340A (which is the version the united express is for) then under the menu for liveries only the default FFS Simulations skin is available...not the united express or any others

GAH this is killing me i just tried uninstalling completely and re-installing and I still have gotten nowhere.
