June 29, 200916 yr Hello Folks I have used Winzip for years, but it is becoming an irritant with its constant nag's and day's installed countup each time you start it.I also have the 7-zip freeware offering which seems as good as Winzip to me but one thing i would like to know does it has an equivalent to the USE FOLDER NAMES option as per WZP ?cheers Andy If posted in the wrong forum feel free to shove it along.

June 29, 200916 yr I use Camunzip, make a new folder, name it, place the camzip zip in the folder, open it - it makes a new folder with the contents inside, therefore great for easy storage for future use. And before anyone says why would you want it for future use, wait till you have to do a full re-install !!! Its COMPLETELY FREE.http://www.camunzip.com/Echofox

If I am not mistaken, the latest version is 12.1I use 7-zip and although I have seen an option to "use folders" it seems to do it anyway - at least for me.
