I know the aviation bug has finally hit me hard as this is the first time I have seriously thought of going to Air Venture. Well,.... I know I really can't this year but perhaps I should start planning for 2010. After drooling, looking about their website (can't believe they are going to land an Airbus A380 there), I was surprised, dare I say disappointed, that I could not find anything about flight simulation there. I thought for sure I would read about some venues set up to demonstrate our addiction, er... hobby I mean. ;)Why doesn't "FANCON" or simular flightsim conventions team up to have it there? Have the best of both worlds.Clutch

They have in the past, but you have to remember this is EAA and members already have addictions to take up all spare time and money :( Nope, not going this year... :(

Well, MS/ACES has had a fairly big space at the show for a number of years, but there's no one left to run it this year :-< Tim

There are usually exhibits for Flight Simulations. Two years ago the X-plane guys had a neat exhibit, along with a small Aerosoft desk that had some good box titles on sell. Not to mention the Pilot Mall, which was selling Flight Sim hardware. CH had a very good exhibit the past three years. If you look around, you'll find some flight sim stuff.EDIT: By the way, I got some great deals on my hardware (plus free shipping because I shoved it in my luggage for the plane ride home). Usually the shipping to your home is free from the vendors there. It's like Christmas for me there!
