Has Dreamfleet gone into the sunset?

Featured Replies

Sorry to drag this thread up, I think the least they can do is remove the "Those who purchase the Archer III for FS9 will be able to receive the FSX version for FREE if so desired." from the Archer III purchase page. It's painfully obvious that it isn't coming, probably due the "price of avgas" or other such nonsence.

It would be sad to see Dreamfleet go.I remember the first payware add-on I ever bought was their famous Dreamfleet 737 for FS2002 I think it was.I remember at the time looking at my credit card, thinking it was totally nuts to spend $40 or so on an FS add-on, but then doing it anyway and not regretting it one bit.

I was looking forward to their 727 being updated for FSX sometime. One of the best addons ever. And their Baron. Etc everything they made was great. Why is captain sim stronger than ever but the quality addons are gone?

I agree. Watching monkeys (well known, or otherwise) throwing peanuts - at best - has no appeal.

Not really selfish, maybe I'm in a minority who thinks 2+ yrs is enough time to get some sort of FSX compatibility patch available. Especially for customers who (like me) bought the Archer, based on the promise of the "forthcoming FSX upgrade"I do wish Lou and DF the very best, I'm just musing the probability that other developers would have been raked over hot coals by now.
