August 3, 200916 yr Hello,When i press a key for menu select, it takes approx 2 to 5 seconds to actually "enter" the selected option so i hear the request. When i press "7" to acknowledge for sample, the response is not immediate (as it is in FSX ATC) but there is a delay of 2 - 5 seconds. This is a bit frustrating as it slow all the process to my opinion. Is it normal behaviour for RC4 or not ?Is there a way to have "immediate" response from input like in FSX ATC ?Thank youComma

August 4, 200916 yr You need to turn off the DWC (direct wind control) in ASA. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

August 5, 200916 yr Yeah, that's the word I got direct from JS. The DWC will probably never work in FSX, he said. We'll let you slide on this one, this time John (wink) :( Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

August 5, 200916 yr Hello,Not using ASA.Anyway removing "Display Text" and using "Autoreply" did improved the experience.Thank you for support.PS : I know this is a FSUIPC related question but is there a way to change the BACKGROUND color of the FSUIPC message window ? Not the font, the background (essentially to remove alpha transparency for crisper visibility of text) ?PS2 : Is there a way to know if we are in "comm by copilot" mode or not ? It seems i can't get it to work (copilot comm handling), i always have to press keys to contact / acknowledge, etc even after pressing assigned key for mode.Comma
August 5, 200916 yr Pressing C/S K (cntrl/shift and K at the same time) is the default key combo for handing comms off to Otto. You should hear your voice say something like "your comm" and Otto replying "got it". C/S K again should return the comms to you. You should hear Otto say "your comm" and your selected voice say "mine".Yes, some note that says not to use DWC in FSX would have been nice. Or better yet like you say, just disable the dang thing. I fought it for weeks. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

Save the flight so it comes back that way on reload. The only other way is to use "ShowText", which is a separate program -- no good if you use FS in full screen mode, but great over a WideFS network.RegardsPete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. August 6, 200916 yr I find using white text in the RC mini-window gives text with more clarity. After backing up FSUIPC.ini add to the general section using notepad:WhiteMessages=Yes
