August 6, 200916 yr Hello,MD-11 FS9.1, since this morning I am experiencing drifting navigation from wapoint to waypoint, even short distance from 2 waypoint, the drift can go upto 5.0.I have of coure enabled G/I, as I have the G/I NAV on the ND in magenta.Any idea? Thanks for your input guys..Cyrille
August 6, 200916 yr Author One more thing, it is not only the navigation which seems to be offset, but ILS approach too. If FD is centered, I am 0.4 Left of trak, if I disconnect the AP and fly manualy the ILS, then the FD is not happy...I have changed nothing to my FS set up or pmdg option.I am thinking of the mag var, but not sure of that.Cyrille

August 6, 200916 yr Cyrille: Hope this helps: http://ops.precisionmanuals.com/wiki/How_t...Tracking_ErrorsFor others, I started a wiki article on this subject because it comes up weekly and would not mind if someone added other things that worked in solving this problem. Dan Downs KCRP
August 7, 200916 yr Author Hello,After investigation I have found that the deviation is not worldwilde, but lcated to the west coast of the US and Pacific.I am investigating more this morning to the asian region.Changing the magdec.bgl to the original one or the one in the avsim libary or even fsX one won't solve the problem. FSX magdec was the file I have been using since FSX is out with any problem. It has to be scenery related.Cyrille
August 7, 200916 yr Did you use the registry repair tool that has been mentioned here? It certainly works with exactly this error on FS9... as I had some tracking and ILS issues at certain locations. After running the Flight1 registry repair tool (freeware on the Flight1 site) all was fine... I suggest you look into it...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
August 7, 200916 yr Author hello, just to let you know that i found the faulty one. actually it was tide up to 2 scebery i installed a couple of days ago.-First is VIDP V2, introducing 2 file to put in the scenery/ generic folder that will allow the AI traffic to use both new ILS on the RWY 11/29. As I do not use Ai no prob.-Second is a scenery from BEJAIA(DAAE).The funniest is that the dviation was not all over the world, but as I said in a specific aera: west coast US and pacific. If any one as a clue of the reason I would be happy to know. Same if you want the files to have a look at it, let me know.using the tool to repair the registry never worked in that case, same for the magdec.bgl file replacement. Thanks to all of you for your help and support.
August 23, 200916 yr Apparently I found another faulty one: TBPB_09_27.BGL in tbpb_v110_udpate.zip (Barbados).David
